These people were strange
They claimed to be my family but I didn't feel safe around them in any way, yes they kept out the darkness yet they seemed their own version of it. I felt just as bad inside the house than I felt outside the house. Time passed, I had been here forever.
They both watched my every move, I was never alone and no matter how hard I tried to be they were always a few steps behind me. I could always feel their breath on my neck but that wasn't the worst part.
What truly frightened me.......was their eyes.....
They were as black as night and cold, so very cold
I tried avoiding those orbs yet now they had tattooed themselves into my brain, I saw them everywhere.

Words of love and reassurance constantly spilled out of their monotone voice boxes making my whole body shiver each time they said anything. Diamond didn't even sound like my peanut and Joker was now this 'Jack' person.
As I sat on on the bottom of the freezing staircase, my 'family' stood staring deep into my soul I realised something.

I was trapped in hell and there was no way out...........

"MAMMYYY!"

"What was that?" I whispered jumping back in fright at the force from the scream.
Looking up at the family I noticed they were still staring at me, they hadn't heard a thing yet the cry had pierced my ears so painfully I felt my own tears spring into my eyes.

"Mammy help me please!"

There is was again!
Looking around frantically I felt a deep panic settle inside me.
What the hell was going on?

"Right my little clown, do you want to walk or have daddy push you" Joker grinned turning back to look at Diamond who was happily cheering in her booster seat.
"Me walk! Me walk!" She squealed staring out the window in awe at the snow covered ground.
"Lets go princess!" He announced quickly jumping out the car and walking round to Diamonds side in order to release the now bouncing child.
Before Joker let her loose he began to take her tiny shoes off and replace them with her winter boots. His parentally instincts kicking in at the thought of his baby getting sick because of him. He never thought he would be one of those parents who worried over everything and anything but truthfully he was worse especially now after Alexander, he had almost lost his little clown.

"Down daddy! Down!" Diamond demanded kicking her legs as she struggled within her fathers arms, she loved soon and in no way wanted to be carried.
Shaking his head with a chuckle, Joker gently placed her onto her feet and took her hand within his just in case she slipped on any ice. The blizzard had finally stopped and now only a few inches of snow was left behind. The view was breathtaking but Joker would never admit that so staring at the snow in disgust he began leading Diamond towards the park gates.

Joker could already hear the laughter of other children followed by the cries of worried parents instantly making him scowl further. He wanted it to just be him and the little clown, he didn't need to be surrounded by snot nosed gremlins and judging eyes.
Speaking of judging eyes, Joker spotted a pair coming towards him just as he took his first steps through the heavy metal gates. It was a middle aged woman and the very kind of parent you avoided at the schools because they always wanted to stick their noses in and give you advice on your children. Rolling his eyes the clown began to prepare himself for whatever the woman had to say.

To his surprise the mom ignored him completely and instead bent down to Diamonds level.
"Are you ok sweetheart?" She whispered gently taking Diamond by the shoulders and staring at her in a look of worry mixed with fear.
Nodding her head Diamond tried to shrug herself away from the strange woman, trying her hardest to hide behind her father.
Joker could feel rage stirring inside him as this woman touched his child, a child who was now looking ready to cry as the woman's grip got tighter.
