Ember's POV
"Ember!" Melody gasped recognising me as the victim underneath Alexander.
I didn't think it was possible for her face to become more paler than it already was, she looked like death so much so that it creeped me out to see her cold breath disappearing through the air. There were dried iced upped tears resting on her colourless cheeks and strong purple, hand prints painfully circling her neck. Something bad had obviously happened to the girl which led to my next question.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I managed to croak out as I tried to filter the air back into my lungs.
All the fight that had left me came back to life seeing her stood in the doorway. I wanted to jump up and bounce her head off the ground until it was soft as a boiled apple. I didn't care what had happened to her, she deserved everything she got. That slut had tore my family apart along with Mr J, I hated them with every fibre in my body. I could trust no one in life, not one person! The amount of betrayal was unbearable and it seemed as if I would never be rid of it, they all followed me round like moths to a flame.

"Well what an awkward situation!" Alex chuckled pulling me to my feet and standing between us.
My anger rose at the sight of his smug grin and I wanted more than to rip it off his face and force feed it to Melody.
"Oh Alex! I've missed you so much!" Melody cried out running towards him and crashing her lips against him.
Shock ran through me as cold as ice....they were together!
I reached out and grabbed ahold of the table, feeling like I could pass out at any moment.
I felt sick!
What sort of game was this?!
Would Mr J show up next?!
Was he on it too?!
My mind raced as the sweat dripped from my head, heart beating rapidly in my chest.
I was about to have a panic attack, I could feel it rising and if I didn't control it Alexander would have full control over me.

I watched with wide eyes as Alexander pulled away in disgust and flashed a fake smile.
"Melody...darling! What are you doing here?" He questioned maliciously.
"I finished my part! I did everything you asked of me, it's finally over! I don't have to go next to that monster ever again!" She squealed looking up at him in such admiration and love, it was the look I once myself bestowed upon Joker.
"Yes but did I not tell you to stay clear until I summoned you?! Why do you never follow orders?!" Alex demanded eyes turning black and fiery.
"I'm sorry...I..I...." Melody whimpered, fresh tears filling her orbs.

"W.w..what?...you...two...together....oh my god....no.." I sobbed bringing my hand up to my mouth and shaking violently.
"My darling Ember I'd like you to meet  a part of my plan. This is Melody and she is a wonderful actress!" Alexander cackled causing me to fall to the floor.
"No!" I cried looking around frantically, completely terrified.

"Oh yes! You see the only way I could get you away from Joker is if he betrayed you and Melody was perfect for the job. You and him have had problems since the start so once my little bird was put in place I knew it was only a matter of time before your world came crashing down. It was tough, I didn't think he would crack! He may abuse you Ember but boy is he a loyal one well he was....
How does it feel to know your great mighty Joker finally got outsmarted and look he's still completely clueless?!" His evil laugh continued to echo off the walls making me sob more.

"We did it my love! We did it! Now we can finally be together!" Melody grinned, her world coming together as mine shattered.
A part of my almost felt sorry for Mr J.
Melody had obviously had a big impact on his life, he had fallen for her hard and now she had betrayed him. Soon he would find out and be crushed. A part of me felt giddy, I wanted him to hurt just as much as me but I also didn't even though he had tore my heart out my chest. If I was going to lose Mr J to anyone I'd want it to be with someone who would cherish him yet we had found ourselves in the same situation.
