Hey guys!
It's been a long time since I've uploaded a story! And I apologize for that! x) I hope you all enjoyed Carrington Academy, though there is no sequel for it.
So here goes my second story on wattpad :) Remember I don't mind any feedback so feel free to comment, vote and fan!
Oh and I decided to write in a different style for this story. It's in third person perspective. Let me know what you think about it! ;)

Chapter 1
Summer Falls didn’t know what was more ironic; the fact that a guy asked her out at the start of summer or the fact that he dumped her at the end of fall. It was just too ironic. It was as though he had it all planned. Summer couldn’t believe she was dumped and played. He had sold her out. She scoffed out loud. The irony and heartbreak was eating her heart out. How could she let this happen to her? After everything she’s been through?
And that’s when it hit her. What the hell was she doing thinking about a stupid little heartbreak in her apartment? Thank God she wasn’t crying, or else she was sure she would’ve slapped herself. How could she let this be the death of her? Summer Falls doesn’t back down to anything, more less a pathetic guy who dumped her. She wouldn’t let him have this satisfaction.
She dashed to her room and rummaged her closet for the hottest party dress she could find. She settled on a hot red one-strap dress that ended mid-thigh. It looked gorgeous. She quickly changed into it. She curled her gorgeous golden-brown hair into big curls which framed her face, lined her eyes with black eyeliner, curled her lashes with mascara and applied shiny lip gloss. She took one last look in the mirror before she put on her black pumps, grabbed her clutch purse and left the apartment.
She whipped out her phone and dialed an all-too-familiar number that she memorized with ease.
“Yes, Sum?” Amanda picked up the phone at the third ring. She had been Summer’s best friend since high school.
“Andy,” She called her best friend by her nick name, “Meet me at Cloud 9 in 30,”
“Finally you’re coming out of your little apartment!” Amanda sighed in relief. “I’ll be there in 10.”
“Awesome,” Summer grinned. “Meet you there.”

Cloud 9 was a posh 5-star club that Summer liked ever since she first stepped into it. It’s been her chill out place since she started drinking alcohol. It wasn’t rowdy and dark like those hole-in-the-wall clubs that some of her colleagues had brought her to. She absolutely hated it! Loud music and drunken people wasn’t much of her liking. She didn’t like strangers squashed up against her. It was horrible.
Cloud 9 was more of a posh restaurant, in a way. There was a nice bar lined up against one side of the restaurant. The rest of the area was filled with plush velvety chairs and glass tables. Soft jazz music was always played in the background. Many well-dressed people were always present. Cloud 9 undoubtedly was expensive, but Summer needn’t worry. She worked but her parents were absolutely loaded. She still received a monthly allowance that she tried not to touch from her parents. She vowed to use it for emergencies only. She was a confident woman that could very well take care of herself.
