"Wow baby, that was fast!"Fiona exclaimed as soon as she stepped into Jean-Clark's apartment.

"What was fast?"Jean-Clark asked, not understanding what was going on.

"Everything and the timing was just perfect" Fiona replied, lightly kissing Jean-Clark on his lips.

"What are you talking about Fiona?"

"Stop playing games with me baby. You got your boys to abduct Jasmine at the funeral. I should have known that's why you insisted on not coming with me"

"Boys?"

"Yes''

"My boys are still in france. I haven't even contacted them yet" Jean-clark said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Fiona blinked.

"Jasmine was abducted at the funeral?"

"Yes baby. And if its not you who arranged it then who captured my sister?"Fiona asked.

"I don't know baby, but tgis means that we're not Jasmine's only enemy. Any idea who would want to hurt your sister?" Jean inquired.

"No no,I don't know anyone. What are we going to do now?" Fiona asked worriedly.

"Nothing'' Jean simply answered.

"Nothing? What do you mean by nothing?" Fiona demanded hotly.

"Whoever abducted your sister already did the work for us, free of charge. So we lost nothing"

"But I want to see her myself. She needs to know some certain things before her death and most importantly I want to be the one to execute her!" Fiona replied.

"Okay okay baby. Don't worry too much. All we have to do is to find whoever took her"Jean said.

"How?"

"Well right now I don't know"Jean paused, "we'll think of something"

.........................................................

"Jasmine was abducted!"Greg exclaimed.

"Yes yes yes!" Carl hurriedly answered as he paced back and forth in his living room.

"How's that possible? I mean who is responsible" Greg questioned.

"Obviously someone that hates her but who on earth would want to hurt Jasmine? And why?'' Carl rubbed his forehead nervously.

"Who? It could ve someone she hurt" Greg answered.

"Why would Jasmine deliberately hurt someone"

"That's it Carl. She might have indeliberately hurt someone"

"Hmm. It could be true but who? We have nothing to start with in order to search for her" Carl licked his lips and ran a hand through his hair pacing back and forth.

"What! No Carl. WE ARE NOT searching for her ourselves. Let the police do it. I' m not allowing us to get into trouble" Greg replied.

"So you expect me to sit and do nothing? Carl asked his friend.

"Yes Carl. Yes" Greg said firmly.

"Our family is falling apart Thelma. Our son is gone, our daughter has been kidnapped. Only God knows what will happen next, to either me or Fiona" Edwin cries, clutching the portrait is wife Thelma in his hands, sitting on his bed.

He continued. "Ever since you left there's been a hole that no one has filled.

He sobbed,"i'm lost Thelma. I'm lost without you, without your love"

Edwin held the portrait close to his heart and wept uncontrollably.

Ceeilia stood in the doorway of Edwin's room, worried for him as she watched him weep and talk to the portrait of his late wice.

The family was really falling apart.

Oh God,who could be so hard-hearted. I should talk to him. Cecia thought.

"Mr Blake,do you need anything? Like tea?" Cecilai asked softly. They might not be related but she cared for him because he was a good man and treated everyone respectfully. He had never made her feel like an employee.

Edwin sniffed in,"Cecilia, how long have you been standing there?"

"Not for long Mr Blake"she replied.

"Okay and no I don't need anything except my children" He replied.

"Can I come in Mr Blake?" Cecila asked.

"If you wish to" Edwin replied.

Cecilia walked further into the room and sat on his bed.

"I can't imagine the pain you're feeling now Mr Blake" Cecilia started.

"You really can't Ceci. I wouldn't wish anyone this" Edwin replied.

"I know no words can make your pain go away Mr Blake but you need to be strong. Your daughter needs your strength right now. Weeping can't solve anything Mr Blake, you need to start searching for your daughter seriously"

"I don't thing I have enough strength Cecilia. I have not overcome the pain i'm feeling from the death of my son and now this"

"Sir, late Mrs Blake is counting on you to save her daughter. Don't let her down. And sir, you're a strong man. All you have to do is to summon that all of your strength and be optimistic. Do it for Mrs Thelma. I'll go get some tea for you. Please excuse me" Cecilia said politely, patted Edwin's shoulder confortingly an left the room.
