chapter 41: Call for rescue

"So what do you think Joe?" Carl asked his friend who's also a detective.

"It's a good plan but it's not certain. How does we know their next move, that's if they're going to strike again soon before the kill her or take any action against her" Joe explained to her as they walked around the building of the police station.

"I didn't think k this through Joe"  Carl muttered.

A voice caught their attention. "Please do calm down miss. Where exactly? We need a precise location" the female officer spike into the phone.

"What is going on Delia?" Joe asked.

The female officer turned to him, covering the mic of the phone and replied.

"It's a lady, she says she has been kidnapped and she is on the run" the female officer explained.

Joe and Carl looked at each other.

"Give me the phone" Joe ordered.

"Yes sir" she replied and handed the phone to him.

"Hello! Hello!" A lady's voice frantically called.

"Detective Joe speaking" Joe spoke into the phone.

"I need help, I've been kidnapped and I've managed to escape. I'm very sure Venom and his boys are looking for me and it won't be too long before they find me. Please" the lady begged.

"Please calm down Miss. What's your name?" Joe asked.

"Jasmine Blake. Daughter of Edwin Jackson Blake. I'm sure that my dad must have informed the police by now. What's going on?" The last replied, rushing her words.

"It's Jasmine" Joe mouthed to Carl.

"Yes yes yes we are. What's your location?" Joe asked the lady.

"I don't know! I just kept running till I found here. I don't know this place, I've never been here."

"Look around Miss, give us a description, look for signboards, anything that can help us find you."

"Umm, it's like a small town and I'm at a small eatery called Davina's " she told them.

"There should be an address below the name on the signboard" Joe said.

"It isn't very clear but I'll tell you what I'm seeing" she replied and told them.

'Okay madam, stay safe. Be observant. Be vigilant."

"I'm coming for Jasmine. Please stay safe and calm!" Carl shouted.

"Carl?" The lady questioned then she said "oh no no no no."

"Jasmine! Jasmine!" Joe called and then looked at Carl.

Carl looked back in fear.

"She hung up. I think she's in trouble" Joe explained.

"Oh no!" Carl exclaimed.

"James! Father up the men. We've got location of Jasmine and it's an emergency!" Joe yelled.

"I'm coming with you" Carl said.

"No you can't. It's too dangerous" Joe replied.

"You can't stop me Joe. Please" Carl pleaded.

After a few minutes of consideration, Joe agreed.

"Thanks."

Detective Phil approached them.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"We've got Mr Blake's daughter's location and she's in the run. She made mention of 'venom and his boys'. Look up on anything called venom. Okay?"

"Alright Joe. Take care" Phil replied and went his way.

"Let's go Carl," Joe said.

I  hope I did this chapter well. I really do because I'm not an expert on security agency stuff but I hope you understand the chapter.
