Chapter 30:Heartbreaking truth

Fear enveloped Jasmine and all of her being. She was tied to a chair. She looked at the man beast in front of her. There were two men at his sides,that is,one man at each side.

"Is this her?"he demanded.

"Yes boss"One of his men replied.

"What a beauty"the man beast exclaimed. He looked at the men at his sides and communicated with his eyes. The men bowed down and left closing the steel door behind them.

Jasmime fearfully looked at him.

Does this man have a heart? What does want to do to me? Oh God,please don't let him kill me.

Jasmine prayed silently.

"It's a pity that a beautiful woman like you would pay for someone else's foolishness"he said.

Jasmine swallowed. What the hell is ge talking about?

''You look so confused. I'm pretty sure you have no idea of what i'm talking about. I'm talking about Harry or should I say Albert" the man said walking around.

Jasmine couldn't speak. What should she say ?

"Oh,this conversation is very boring. I guess you're used to formalities and is expecting so. Forgive me. My name is Alexander Wells preferably known as Venom. Aah,you must be thinking why I am giving you my name when you could expose me if you get out of here. Well you will,but you'll be dead!" He said,smiling sinisterly.

Jasmine shrunk in fear. She was going to die after all.

"And you are?" Venom asked.

Jasmine kept mute.

"Okay maybe i'm being too gentle" he said and walked around her,then harshly dragged her hair backward.

"Aah!" Jasmine screamed.

"Oh what a sweet voice. I imagine how Harry must love taking you to bed. I should do that too. Should I....." Venom lowered his mouth to the nape of Jasmine's neck,lightly grazing it.

"Oh so soft and warm"he whispered.

Jasmine shivered. Not in pleasure. In disgust.

Suddenly he stopped and whispered angrily in her ear "answer me when I ask you a question or you'll be sorry"

He let go of her hair harshly and came in front of her.

Jasmine sobbed.

"Start talking" Venom demanded.

"I'm.....i'm Jasmine Blake" she said in betweeen sobs.

"Good. Now tell me, what do you know about your boyfriend Harry?"he asked.

"He.....he....he"Jasmine couldn't stop sobbing.

"Please please please stop doing that huh? It's pissing me off. Talk fluently okay?"

Jasmine nodded agressively and took deep breaths trying to calm down.

"Albert told mehe wanted to forget the life he lived as Harry Osbourne. He told me you killed his girlfriend back then because you wanted her by all means, but she loved and chose him instead. He said he woke up one day only to see her brutally murdered with a snake sticker on her...her forehead and then framed him for it. He had to run away" Jasmine summarized what she knew.

"That motherfucking son of a bitch. Bastard. How dare he? Well listen to me miss,he lied to you. So i'm gonna tell you what happened. The truth" he said furiously.

Jasmine's eyes widened expectantly.

"Well your stupid boyfriend worked for me. He was in my gang and I fed him well enough but he wanted more. He was an unsatiable greedy bastard. You see your boyfriend helped my enemy take away a precious gem. My little sister. And why? Because they offered him a lot of money. Plenty money and proection. But they failed and he was stupid. Then he snitched up on us with the police, he tried to do it anonymously. I lost some of my men and luckily escape prison. I had to run. The police traced him after being told he was among us ans he too had to run. But i'll catch him and i'll make him pay. Starting from you sweetheart" Venom finished.

Jasmine gasped and watched in fear and horror as be slowly removed a gun from his back pocket and pointed it at her.

Jasmine closed her eyes, tears falling as she realised tjis was her last day on earth.

Images of her father, Carl, Tony and Albert played in her mind as she anticipated that gunshot.

Suddenly the steel door opened and a female voice called out "baby".

Jasmine opened her eyes slowly to see that the gun waan't pointed at her anymore and Venom was kissing a lady.

The kiss ended and the lady turned towards her.

"Well hello there" she said.

Jasmine gasped. "You...you..." Jasmine stammered.

"Jessica"the lady completed and smiled.

Is Carl into this too? Jasmine thought fearfully.
