Miyeon woke up to sunlight through the windows. The lights to the room were still on, of course, but the sunlight made everything much brighter.

She thought about the night before with Jungkook. Almost everyone in the family had spoken to her, accepted her, tried to learn more about her, but his conversation was different. It was out of place. But not....bad.

A knock on the door made her jump. Damn, I'll never not get scared, huh?

The door peeked open, and Monster's head poked through. "Oh, good, you're awake." He walked into the room with Jungkook trailing behind, carrying another platter of food.

"It's only Jungkook and I in the house today," Monster reported. "Jin and Yoongi are out until around noon, and the others are still hunting down Marcono. We tried out best on breakfast."

Jungkook shrugged and put the platter on her bed, which Miyeon took. There was normal toast, some butter, and a rather lopsided fried egg, but she was still happy with it. "Thank you." She still didn't know what Marcono was or what they were doing to it.

"Do you think you're ready to tell me some information on Letchner, Miyeon?" Monster asked, sitting on the edge of the bed. "You can take more time if you need."

"I'm ready," Miyeon answered. "I can tell you everything I know."

"Nuh-uh," Jungook said. "Not before you take your meds. I can't have you bitching about the pain you're in. Jin would kill me."

Miyeon rolled her eyes and took the gray pill from Jungkook, swallowing it immediately. She was anxious to start telling Monster everything she knew on Letchner. It meant it was finally time to destroy him.

"Thank you, Jungkook, you can leave now," Monster said.

Miyeon saw Jungkook's expression slightly falter when he realized he wasn't meant to stay, but with he same cocky walk as always, he left the bedroom and shut the door.

It was time.

"Miyeon, his whereabouts come first. Name all of the locations that you know Letchner works, including your residence or any associate residence." He pulled out a small scrap of paper and pen for this, but Miyeon knew he would need more than that if she were to name them all. Lucky for Monster, Miyeon knew the addresses of a majority of the associates, suppliers, storage houses, and more. When she was younger, she had to memorize them for work. When she was older, she had to memorize them to know the places to avoid when she ran off during the day.

"We lived on 78th and Carver Ave," she said. "Most of the other locations are on the southwestern block." Down the list she went, naming every place she had completed deals or heard Letchner talk about. She even mentioned her first (and last) call girl client.

She finished and like expected, Monster didn't have enough room to write it all down. He used his phone to take notes instead.

"Damn, you....you know a lot," he said, looking over his two lists. "How did you....?"

"I paid close attention to where Letchner was around the city," Miyeon answered. "You know, to make sure he didn't catch me when the day came to leave. Eventually, you spend all your time memorizing and charting and piecing it all together...." her voice softened, "and you realize you're surrounded no matter where you go."

Miyeon looked up and caught Monster's pitiful glance, so she stiffened her expression. She didn't want her thinking she was some childish, troubled teenager. She needed to be strong.

"Alright, now from your time with him, what exactly was Letchner's goal?" Monster asked. "Take over the city? Defeat other gangs? Expand outside of Seoul?"

If Miyeon was honest with herself, she didn't know. That was the one thing she didn't bother herself with when it came to Letchner. She didn't want to do more than she had to, so she stayed away from his meetings and plans. The further she was from the gang work, the closer she was to escaping it.

"I don't know," she said. "It always seemed like he just wanted more control, more drugs, more followers, but I stayed away from his plans." Her eyes fell to the bed sheet. "I'm sorry I don't have a better answer."

"No, don't apologize," Monster said, smiling weakly. "With the shit you've given us already, Miyeon, we can take him out either way." His voice lowered. Miyeon felt his entire aura grow more intense.

"Now....what are his weaknesses?"

Weaknesses. With Letchner's ultimate drug supply, he had the potential to run the city's gang life. But something wasn't right. Letchner wasn't a good leader of course, as he had no morals or values besides money and drug....what else took away from his success?

"He's unorganized," Miyeon started, "almost to the point where he doesn't know what goes on inside the family. Sometimes suppliers will betray him, withhold money, sell products incorrectly, but it doesn't make its way back to him. He has too many people but not enough of their respect to keep it all in check." Miyeon saw Monster listening intently. "I think if you focus your attack on a strong part of the business, it can make the biggest impact, as he doesn't have much strength behind him besides numbers."

Monster leaned in more. "And what part would that be?"

Miyeon took a moment to think. They needed something to divert his attention away from his own safety; it wouldn't be hard. If they attacked a large but uncontrollable part of his work, they could launch a personal attack on him. Then proceed to infiltrate the family, then......wipe it out.

She was getting ahead of herself. "His biggest storage house is also the prime meeting spot for associates, buyers, and sellers. Maybe we can take it down somehow, take his attention away from himself. Would that give us the opportunity to get him?"

Monster seemed to think it over, but his cheeks spread into a smile. "Miyeon, that's perfect. I'm sure Yoongi would love something new to burn down." He stood up, the dimples from his smile deepening. Miyeon found it ironic that someone who could be so terrifying had such a stereotypically cute feature, and so prominent, too.

"I'll talk it over with the others when everyone gets back." He headed towards the door. "Thank you, again."

"Of course," Miyeon said. "Anything for Letchner to burn."

It seemed like Monster wasn't expecting Miyeon to be so openly fierce, and neither was she. He smiled darkly at it just the same.

Everyone here wants the same thing. The thing I've been wanting for years.

The happiness of it all washed over here. She was getting everything she had wanted. Miyeon found herself smiling, sighing, even giggling and squirming. It reminded her of being a little kid. Except, kids usually don't get so elated over the downfall of their parents.

But this kid did.
