Ella's P.O.V.

I wake up to Maggie knocking on the door. "Ella its Maggie I have to ask you for a favor." She says and I sit up, I look over at Carl to see him still peacefully sleeping.

"Okay come in just be quiet Carl's still sleeping." I say and Maggie walks in.

"Ella, Beth's depressed about the whole barn thing. Please go try and talk to her make her happy. Please do it for me." Maggie says and I nod.

"Of course I will I don't want to see Beth depressed." I say and get out of bed.

"Thank you Ella!" Maggie says and walks out if the room. I walk over to Carl's side of the bed and start to kiss him all over his face an then his lips. I pull away and see him smile.

"Good morning handsome." I say and kiss Carl's nose.

"Good morning beautiful." Carl says and brushes my hair out of my eyes.

"I have to go help Beth with some stuff okay,Im pretty sure your dad and all are back. Can you go see for me while I see Beth?" I ask Carl and he nods then pulls me on top of him.

"Why can't we just stay here and cuddle?" Carl ask as he wraps his arm around my waist.

"Babe I would love to do that but we can't because Beth is depressed because of my daddy shooting her mom. So I promised Maggie I would help her. They're like sisters to me Carl I have to do this.Im sorry ." I say and Carl smiles

"Its okay babe. Im glad your trying to help Beth that's really sweet." Carl says and kisses my cheek.

I get off of Carl and he stands up. Carl hugs my hips "Ill see you in a little while to tell you if there here are not okay?" Carl says and I nod.

"Okay.Ill see you later." I say and kiss Carl's lips.

I walk out of the room and into Beth's. I see Beth just laying on the bed. "Hi." I say and she looks at me.

"Hey." she says so low it almost sounded like a whisper.

"Are you okay? Do you want to talk about it or go for a walk?" I ask her and she shakes her head.

Then Lori walks in "Hey girls! Beth how are you doing?" Lori asks Beth

"Fine." she says as Lori grabs the tray of food Beth had.

Lori looks at it and almost walks out but then walks back in. "Sweetie you don't want to do this! Just give me it!" Lori says and holds her hand out.

Beth pulls her hand out from under the covers and hands Lori a knife. "Beth....we're you going to hurt yourself?" I ask and Beth stays silent.

"Beth please don't do that! If you would do that and die I wouldn't be able to live in this world! Beth your like my sister! Please don't even think about doing that!" I say and sit on the bed next to her.

"I know it's hard, but there's always a light at the end of the tunnel." I say and place my hand on Beth's shoulder.

"Ella Carl wanted to talk to you so Andrea said she would stay with Beth for a little while." Maggie says and I nod.

"Ill be back to come see you Beth I promise!" I say and she gives me a weak smile and nods. I stand up and walk out the door as Maggie and Andrea walk in.I walk over to Carl and he smiles.

"Hey so my dad,Glenn and Hershel are back and okay." Carl says and I nod.

"Okay thank you for telling me. Look I know you want to hang out but Beth. Shes not well. Im sorry Carl but she really needs some one to talk to." I say to Carl and look at the ground.
