Sickness

Ella's P.O.V.

"I can help." Carl says as Rick says they will need help clearing the walkers from the fence "No you get some rest. You've been doing a lot these past few days." Rick says and I grab Carl's hand "Yeah Carl you should get some rest. You've done a lot." I say softly and Carl nods "I will just let me talk to my dad first. You just go wait in the cell, ill be there soon I promise." Carl says and I nod. He kisses my cheek and I walk away for them. I walk inside the prison "Hey!" I say to Beth and Beth smiles "Hey!" she says then I hear a gun shot. I look at Beth "Grab Judith!" I say and run to a different cell block where I heard the gun shot. I run into the cell block to see a while bunch of walkers. I grab a gun "Im not suppose to do this but I sure to hell ain't let our people die." I say quietly to my self. I shot some walkers and run into a cell to see Patrick as a walker "Oh my god!" I say and back away. I shake my head "Im sorry!" I say and shot the thing that was no longer Patrick. I hear a shriek "Lizzie!Mika!Daryl get all the kids outside!" I yell to Daryl and run into there cell to see Mr.Samuels with a bite mark in his shoulder .Carol was in there trying to calm the girls down. "Ella!" Lizzie cries and runs into my arms. "It's okay." I say and hug her back "Ella. I need to to take care of the girls for me with Carol." Mr.Samuels says and I nod "I promise! I will take care of them. Make sure there safe." I say and Mr.Samuels looks at the girls "I want you to be good for Ella and Carol. They will protect you,I know they will." Mr.Samuels says and Mika nods "We will daddy." Mika says tears flowing from her eyes "I love you girls." Mr.Samuels says. They say there goodbyes and Lizzie goes to stab her dad so he won't turn but stops because it was to hard for her. Carol pulls out her gun "No! Don't please!"Lizzie cries "Lizzie she has to! Just count, remember how mama said when ever your mad or stressed to just count?" Mika asks and Lizzie nods "Then do that. Come on ill count with you." Mika says and I look at Mr.Samuels "One...Two....Three-" I hear Mika counting in the back ground as Carol brings her up to Mr.Samuels head "Four...Five....Six-" Mika says and Carol shoots. Lizzie cries harder, she runs up to me and hugs me. "It's okay. It's gonna be okay." I say and hug Mika too. "H-How about we go to Carl and I's cell?" I ask and Mika nods "Please." She says and I nod. I bring the girls to Carl and I's cell."Ella?" Lizzie asks quietly "Yes sweetie?" I say and Lizzie sniffles "Can we sleep in here tonight?"Lizzie asks and I nod "Of course y'all can sweetie." I say and kiss her fore head. "Ella! Ella! Where is she?" I hear Carl frantically ask "Im in here." I say quietly because the girls had fallen asleep on the top bunk of me and Carl's bunk. "Are you okay?" Carl asks and hugs me "Im fine." I say quietly and look at the girls "Patrick he-" I say but Carl cuts me off "Dad told me." Carl says and I shake my head "He didn't deserve it!" I say and Carl hugs me "I know baby. I know he didn't deserve to be like that." Carl says and I shake my head. "The girls..... Mr.Samuels asked me to take care of them." I say as I sit down on the bottom bunk of the bed "And that's exactly what I'm gonna do." I say and Carl sits down next to me. I lay my head down on Carl's lap "I can help you." Carl says and I nod "I would appreciate that." I say and Carl nods.He leans down kisses my temple "Ella,Carl we need to talk." I hear Rick says and I cover my face with my hands "Please not a lecture! I used the gun because I had to! If I wouldn't have Patrick would've sunk his teeth into someone else!" I say and Rick walks into the cell "It's not a lecture. Patrick ......he wasn't scratched or bitten." Rick says and I sit up "So? We know the virus is in all of us. Whats your point?" I ask and Rick sighs "It's like a flu Hershel said and we don't want the kids getting it. Ella your gonna have to stay in a room with Judith." Rick says and I look at Carl "Will we be able to see anyone?" I ask and Rick shakes his head "We don't want Judith getting sick." Rick says and I at my lap "H-How long will we have to stay there?" I ask and Rick shrugs "How ever long it takes for this to clear up I guess." Rick says and I look at Carl "Is there a way we can see them possibly?" Carl asks and Rick shakes his head "Im afraid not." Rick says and Carl grabs my hand. He lightly squeezes it "Were gonna arrange everything tonight you should be good to go by tomorrow." Rick says and I nod. Rick walks out of the cell "I don't want to go Carl." I say and Carl sighs "I don't want you to go ether Ella but you have to baby. We can't let Judith get sick." Carl says and I nod "I know." I say and Carol walks into our cell. "Ella I think we should talk to the girls." Carol says "About what?" I ask "About the walkers and safety." Carol says and I automatically know why she wants to do this. So that what happened to Sophia doesn't happen to the girls. "I think we should to." I say and stand up. "Girls. Come on me and Carol want to talk to you." I say softly and shake the girls awake. "Me and Carol want to talk to you." I say and we bring the girls out side. "Your weak Lizzie." Carol says and I just stand there. Weak?She isn't weak! I wouldn't want to stab my father ether! "They killed him!" Lizzie says and points to a walker. "Nick! They killed him!" Lizzie yells and I see the walker is the walker that had the name tag so they started naming walkers. Lizzie storms off and Mika just stared at Carol "Lizzie's not weak.Shes just messed up." Mika says then walks off.I go into the prison and see Carl with his back turned to me. I go up behind his and wrap my arms around his torso. "Hey babe." Carl says and I kiss his back "Hey." I say and see Carl messing with some shiny metal thing. "Whats that?" I ask and Carl shoves it in his pocket "N-Nothing." Carl says and I nod. "You sure?" i ask a little concerned and Carl nods "Yeah it's nothing." Carl says Im not gonna keep on asking because I don't want to annoy him.Carl turns around to face me and I wrap my arms around his neck. "I'm gonna miss you when I have to be in that room." I say softly and press our foreheads together. "Im gonna miss you too." Carl says and hugs my waist "Hopefully it'll all be over soon." Carl says and I nod. "Lets go lay down." Carl says as I push his bangs out of his face. "M'kay." I say and Carl drags me to our cell. "I'm gonna change." I say and grab a t-shirt with some cotton shorts. "Kay." Carl says and sits down on the bed.I take off my shirt and pants then throw on the t-shirt and cotton shorts. Carl bites his lip and I sit down on the bed next to him. Carl puts his hands on my shoulders and pushes me down on to the bed then puts his knees on ether sides of my thighs.He kisses my lips "Im so gonna miss you,and your lips,and personality, and just everything." Carl sighs and I smile "Im gonna miss you and your lips and personality and just everything too." I say and Carl smiles "That smile is anther thing I'm gonna miss." I say and Carl smiles even more "And you call me the sweet one!" Carl says and pokes my stomach "Because you are!" I say and Carl lays down next to me. "Hey I'm gonna go get some water.Im thirsty,ill be right back." I say and stand up.Carl smirks "So your thirsty?That's interesting." Carl says and I hit his arm "Not like that!" I say and roll my eyes. I walk out of the cell and get some water. I hurry up and get some water then walk back to me and Carl's cell. As I walk in I see Carl take something out off his pocket and quickly shove it into his bag. He turns around and sees me. All he does is lightly smile "What wrong?" I ask and Carl shakes his head "Nothing its...nothing." Carl says and I nod "Okay." I say and sit down on the bed. "Carl?" I say softly and he looks at me "Yeah babe?" Carl says and I sigh "Is everything gonna start going to shit know?" I ask as Carl gives me a confused look "Once something goes wrong everything goes to shit, then we get it under control for a little while then everything goes back to shit. Is that gonna happen agin?" I ask Carl and he sighs "I really don't know Ella." Carl says and I shake my head.I lay down on the bed and pull the blanket over my head. "Ella." Carl sighs and I feel the bed shift "What?" I ask and Carl sighs "Whats wrong?" Carl asks and lays down next to me. "Carl I'm just tired.....ill make sure to tell you before I leave tomorrow." I say and Carl gets underneath the blankets with me. "Your not tired." Carl says and I sigh. To be honest I wasn't tired. I just knew I wouldn't be able to see anyone but Judith for a really long time because of this sickness thats going around and I didn't want that happening so it was making me a little upset. "So what if I'm not?" I ask and Carl hugs my waist "I know your upset." Carl says softly and I wrap my arms around Carl's torso "Why are you upset?" Carl asks softly and grabs my hand. He starts to play with my hand and leave little kisses all over it. "Because." I say plainly "Because why baby?" Carl asks and presses our fore heads together. I shake my head "Nothing. It's stupid and selfish." I say "It doesn't matter, it's making you upset so I want to know." Carl says and I sigh "I just don't want to have to stay in a room and not be able to see you. I don't care about taking care of Judy it's not being able to see you, but I know I have to so Judy doesn't get sick." I say and Carl frowns "I don't want that ether.But we can still talk, Ill be making sure no one goes out of the cell block or in so I can't still talk to you." Carl says and I nod "I guess that'll do." I say and Carl kisses my fore head "Get some sleep. In the morning wake me up if I'm not up before you leave." Carls sys and I nod. I really didn't like havin to be away from Carl because I know this sickness is probably gonna go on for about a week or two.I can only hope that it'll go away sooner.
