Ella's P.O.V.

Today were going to the CDC. My daddy taught me what to do with the walkers. He said to shoot it in the head with my bows and if it gets to close stab it in the head with your pocket knife, but he said only do it if you must

So yeah. "Are yall ready to go sweetie?" Carol asked me as I sit on the ground with Carl next to me.

"Yeah. We are." I said and we both stood up and went in the car with Lori and Rick.

"Okay when we get there y'all two be careful!Stay in my sight!" Lori said

"Yes mom we will gosh!" Carl said and rolls his eyes.

"Carl shes just trying to keep us safe."I whisper to him.

"Yeah but it's annoying sometimes!" Carl whispered back.

"Well she's your mother! so get over it." I hissed at him

"Gosh what's your problem?" Carl asked.

"My problem? Your the one who's being mean to your mother when she's just trying to protect us!" I snap at him.

"Look I'm sorry I'm just really not in a good mood." Carl says and takes my had into his.

I sigh and shake my head "Its okay. Just try and think of something that will make you have a good mood." I said and look at Carl.

"Like you?" Carl asked and kissed my lips.

We pull away and I smile "What ever makes you happy babe and if its me ill gladly kiss you a billion times!" i said and kissed him agin.

"Hey no making out back there!" Rick said and we pulled away.

"Dad we weren't making out! It was a simple kiss." Carl said and grabbed my hand locking our fingers together.

"Sure!" Rick said and chuckled. I blushed kinda embarrassed.

"Were here there's a lot of walkers though so will have to make a run for it." Rick said and I stiffened I didn't want to go anywhere near those things and its getting dark some more walkers will come out soon.

"Ella it's gonna be fine." Rick told me and I nod.

"Okay let's go." Everyone stepped out I heard a few gun shots and then we reached the building.

"How the hell we suppose to get in?" Daryl asked.

"The camera just moved." Rick said and we all look at the camera.

I grab Carl's hand and he intertwined our fingers. I was a little scared to be honest."Please we have children!" Rick begged.

"Rick lets go its getting dark and more of the walkers are coming!"

"Please!" Rick said into the camera.

We turned around ready to leave and then the gate opened. "Come on hurry up and get in!" Someone yelled from the other side. We ran into the building and the gate closed agin.

"Thank you so much!" Rick said and Carl gave my hand a reassuring squeeze telling me everything Would be okay.

I smiled up at him. "Okay well I'm Jenner I'm gonna need blood work from each of you to make sure your not infected." Jenner said and I stiffened my daddy looked over at me.

"Ella its gonna be okay don't panic!" My daddy said and I shook my head lightly

"What's her problem?" Jenner asked

"Shes horrified of needles." Carl said and rubbed my back.

"You can sit on my lap if it makes it any better." Carl told me and I nod.
