Hall of Fame [Red x Champion!Reader]

Requested by the lovely Unholy-Fangirl!  So are you ready for an epic battle of the champions? Because I sure as hell am! Y'all ready for STORYTIME!!!!

It was down to the very end. His Pikachu against your Mimikyu. The battle of the champions has truly begun, and it has been broadcasted to all regions. It very famous Red from Palette Town and (Your Name) From Hau'Oli City. You gave red the first move. You were ready for anything! Let's go!

"Pikachu, thunder bolt."

So we're going with the classic today, huh? That works for you. Mimikyu crawled over to the left, but the thunderbolt had a wider diameter to it than just a normal Pikachu around here. Mimikyu was hit by some sort of splash damage. Wait, Thunderbolt had splash damage? You scoffed under your breath. Had to be specially trained. 

"Mimikyu, Moonblast!"

Mimikyu took energy from the moon, even though it was daytime, and launched a ball of pure fairy type energy similar to a shadow ball at Pikachu. Pikachu tried to dodge but is  Tail was caught in the attack, causing damage to the pokemon. It wasn't as much as a direct hit, but you'll take a third of the original damage of the attack. 

"Pikachu, Iron Tail."

Iron tyoe moves are super effective against a fairy type like Mimikyu. You had to think fast. What could you do to ensure a quick and easy doge of the attack? Using another attacknon it wasn't a garuntee. That's when it hit you.

"Mimikyu! Shadow sneak!"

Mimikyu faded into the ground as nothing more than a shadow just before Pikachu was going to hit him. Mimikyu took the time Pikachu used to stand back up to use shadow sneak from behind. Pikachu took the full damage of the attack. Good, you're a third of the way to beating Red's last and best Pokémon! That's when you saw a smile spread over his lips.

"Pikachu."

Wait, that's it? You stood there, confused. That's when Pikachu sliced an iron tail right into Mimikyu's side. Mimikyu cried in pain and was launched across the battlefield. Mimikyu stood back up and without following your orders, launched three shadow balls consecutively at Pikachu. 

Pikachu was caught in the pandemonium of the triad attack. You and Red just looked at eachother. Neither of you realized a Pokémon could use multiple moves at a time! Red just smirked and turned his hat around. You rolled up your sleeves and smiled at him. Screw the rules! Both Of you decided to let your Pokémon go to their own devices.

Mimikyu launched a Moonblast when Pikachu managed to doge all three attacks, causing Pikachu to be hit. The battle was looking up for Mimikyu when Pikachu used thunder. While the large lightning attack signed down and hit Mimikyu the electric mouse launched an electro ball at Mimikyu. Okay, leaving Mimikyu to his own devices didn't last long. 

"Mimikyu Shadow Sneak!"

Mimikyu immediately retreated back to the shadows and ducked. Now Mimikyu wasn't taking continuous damage. Mimikyu stayed in the shadows for a while, unable to be hit. Mimikyu was probably recovering from the shock of the unorganized battling that just went on. Pikachu was just looking around to where Mimikyu could Be. There were plenty of shadows of nearby plants on the ground. Red scoffed.

"Pikachu, thunder bolt the second Mimikyu comes up."

You raised an eyebrow. So you needed Mimikyu to take Pikachu by surprise. Well, Mimikyu came from behind so Pikachu must be expecting it. If you call out a direction Pikachu would be ready. You just had to hope for Mimikyu. 

NO!!!

Mimikyu rose up behind Pikachu, ready to attack. Pikachu was ready and struck him with a thunderbolt. Then he launched an iron tail on the Pokémon. Mimikyu flew back to you, dragging along the ground until coming to a stop at your feet. Mimikyu fainted.

Red snickered under his breath, turning his hat back around. Pikachu ran back to red and climbed his shoulder. Red gave him a handful of sitrus berries for now. He walked up to you as you were having the poor exaughsted alolan Pokemon return back to the safety of his pokeball. You lost.

"You were one of the strongest trainers I've seen in a while. Congratulations."

Like that, he turned and left you there. You just watched him leave without another word. You were speechless. What do you do? Leave? Thank him? Shout after him? Oh, too late. He's gone. Well...

That was anti-climatic.
