Kiss the Girl [Morty x Reader]

Second tag team request from ZoeyRedbird1 and Jackalight. I'm just seriously hoping they're hardcore Disney fans at this point... STORYTIME!!!

Morty was your boyfriend, and his Gengar was super happy about it. But there we one problem. GENGAR'S OTP IS HARDLY DOING ANYTHING SHIP WORTHY!!! Seriosuly! Nothing romantic really happens between you two! You're too shy and Morty is too oblivious and modest! It really angers Gengar! So that's why he decided to set them up.

Gengar grabbed one of your pokemon. You had a Gardevior with the ability Trace. Gengar filled Gardevior on the plan and they both were instantly on it. Gardevior started writing the notes and Gengar went out to try and get every Pokémon around on the plan. 

Time passes and everything is set. Gardevior gave both you And Morty the letters discretely, thinking they were from eachother. That's when Gardevior traced Gengar's ability levitate. They watched as their trainers individually walked out to go on the date the Pokémon planned for them. Gengar follows Morty while Gardevior waited for you.

Genagar has everything planned. Lots of wild Pokémon made the place nice and pretty. They even were able to steal a boat! So there was going to be a little boat ride for the two of them and Gengar was going to make sure that his OTP will at least kiss by the end of this fanfic! If you guys reading this don't relate to Gengar right now you're a damn liar.

Chatot, who he got to help Gardevior Trace his ability so they can literally sing the song from the little mermaid, used his wing to give Gengar a high five. Oh! There's Morty! He better greet him so he doesn't get suspicious. And so he will actually wait for you instead of deciding to wander away.

"Huh? Hey Gengar. What are you doing all the way out here?"

Morty gave his partner Pokémon some affection and Gengar cheered. Too bad he didn't have the ability trace to take Chatot's Chatterbox. Chatot let out a call in his normal Pokémon voice. Morty and Gengar turned around to see you lookin good. Morty's jaw almost dropped. Gardevior was behind you. Gengar floated over there and gave her a high five.

While the two were talking, Gengar took Gardevior over to Chatot to trace his ability now. Once she had chatterbox she started to learn how the hell to use it. Once she was co fortable speaking normally, Gengar went to go get his ship over to the boat.

"Huh, Hey! Gengar! What are you-"

Gengar started pushing Morty towards the boat. You just giggled at the antics of the ghost Pokémon and followed him. Gengar got you both in the boat. He signaled to the water type Pokémon on below to start making things epic. The Starmies and Staryus sported out of the water and made a little water gun bride thing that was super romantic and over the boat while the speaking and golden start the boat. Chatot flew overhead, finding a nice place to perch himself. Gengar flew Gardevior over to a place where her voice could also be heard.

"🎶There, you see her, sitting there across the way. She don't have a lot to say but there's something about her🎶"

You and Morty both look over and see the Chatot with a microphone. Your fsce went entirely red and Morty just chuckled. He looked over his shoulder and saw Gengar for a moment before he went invisible to hide himself. Morty knew what was up. There's no way (your name) would have asked him on a date on her own. She's too shy and quiet. Then to plan something like this? He knew from the beginning Gengar was planning it. He just went along for the amusement of the Pokémon and you.

"🎶And you don't know why but pure dying to try and kiss the girl🎶"

Chatot had a surprisingly deep, smooth voice for a bird Pokémon. You were so flustered and enchanted by everything going on you hardly noticed that the boat was swimming around in large ovals. Oh, and that Gardevior was on the other side with a microphone in her hands too. Or that the song was from Disney. So when you heard a female voice, you kinda flinched.

"🎵Yes, you want her. Look at her, you know you do. It's possible she wants you too. There's only one way to ask her.🎵"

You looked over and saw Gardevior with a microphone. She must have traced Chatot. This was happening so fast and so quick! Morty knew he had one more line to wait before the chorus, so that she Precisely what he's going to do. It would mean a lot more to you if he acted a with the song. Gengar was trying not to fanboy and reveal himself whole floating behind the boat.

"🎵it don't take a word, not a single word. Go on and kiss the girl. Kiss the girl.🎵"

Morty looked between Chatot and Gardevior. They both have him a thumbs up. They waited for him to take your hands, look you deep into your eyes, give you a comforting smile and just do it! Just do it! Don't let your dreams be dreams! JUST. DO. IT!!!

Your lips connected and it felt like the world had jusr became perfect. They were soft and warm on your lips. You wrapped your arms a round Hisahoshi neck, craving more of this feeling. Shots of electricity fired through your veins. A fire ignited in your heart. Who cares if you were blushing at this point? MORTY WAS KISSING YOU!!!

Gengar did two forward flips in the air and flew over to Gardevior. He signaled for the chorus from both singers. He signaled for the water type Pokémon to make it even more extraordinary. He wanted his OTP to never forget this day in their calendars!

"🎶🎵Sha la la la la la My oh my Looks like the boy's too shy Ain't gonna kiss the girl. Sha la la la la la Ain't that sad It's such a shame, too bad You're gonna miss the girl, Go on and kiss the girl, kiss the girl. Kiss the girl...🎵🎶"

Over a thousand words, barely. But this has to be my most proud oneshot in my Pokemon Boiz collections. I really like how this one turned out. I just wish my writing was better so it could be better for you guys.
