I told you so | Auston Matthews

Chapter 13

"Yes mom," I reply to my mom rolling my eyes. She keeps asking when Auston and I will come back to Arizona.

"I just want to meet the man that makes you happy, is that a crime?" She ask jokingly.

"I'll talk to him when he comes over tonight for the party." I reply reassuring her.

I packed my stuff in the trunk of the car.  Then headed over to Auston's. The ride to the airport was silent, my small hand intertwined with Auston's big one.

"My family is excited to meet you," I smile looking into brown eyes that match mine.

"Yeah, I'm excited to meet them they sound cool." He replied while rubbing my hand.

"Mom! Dad." Auston says excitedly walking to his parents.

"Papi I missed you!" She mom cries out to her son.

"How have you been?" She began to question her son.

"I've been good, I want you to meet my girlfriend Hannah." He says introducing me.

I wave to the smiling parents. They are so proud of Auston. I love his family already.

"I'm Brian, and this is my wife Ema." Auston's dad reply's with a smile and a hug.

"Come on, let's go back go our house. What time are your family coming to dinner?" Ema asks.

"I'll call them when we get to your house." I reply, brushing the hair out of my face.

"Ok sweetheart." His mom said replying.

"Mom, Dad!" I almost yelled when I seen my parents. My dad is the person I go to when I need to talk to someone.

"Hannah bug," my dad calls out hugging me back.

"I've missed you," I say pulling away from my dad. I look over to see my brother Brett.

Smiling at him I rush over to give him a big hug.

"Who's this?" I question, pointing to a blonde guy with bright green eyes.

Laughing, Brett replies. "That's my boyfriend Liam."

"Oh my gosh excuse me! I'm Hannah Brett's sister." I say holding out my hand.

"I've heard a lot about you, Brett really misses you." He confesses.

"I hope all good things." I reply chuckling.

"Haha of course!" Liam laughs reassuring me.

"Liam this is my boyfriend Auston," I gesture to Auston.

"Hello, I'm Auston Matthews." Auston says introducing himself.

"As in Auston Matthews the NHL player?" Liam asks in disbelief.

"The one and only." Auston replied with a chuckle.

"Dinners ready," Ema calls from the kitchen as she comes out with a bowl of green beans.

Dinner should be interesting I thought.
