Tonight is the NHL award show and I'm going as Auston's date. Auston is wearing a black suit with a white dress shirt and a red pocket square.
I decided to wear a red glitter dress, it stops right below my knee. My brown hair is curled into beach waves and my makeup is simple.
"I have a surprise for you," Auston says with a smile, holding out his hand to meet mine. Walking over to him a look into his soft brown eyes and he blindfolds me.
"Just a few more steps." Auston whispered as guides me outside. The breeze was cool but not chilly.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
"Yes," I replied laughing at him.
He untied the blindfold and I open my eyes to see a long, black limousine. He remembered when I told him I've always wanted to go in a limousine since I was a little girl.
He opens the door and helps me inside. Mitch and Nicole greet us with a smile and say hello. —————

"Hello NHL fans! It's Ashley Simms from Barstool Sports. I'm here with Auston Matthews from the Toronto Maple Leafs," the reporter tells the camera.
"So Auston, how has this year gone for you?" Ashley asked giving him the microphone.
He pushes the hair out of his face and replies, "it's been amazing, I think we are working well together and we might have a shot for the cup."
"That's great! So who's this lovely lady? Is she your girlfriend?" She asked wondering.
Auston looks at me and grabs my hand with a smile.
"Yes, this is a wonder girlfriend Hannah." He says looking at me.
My cheeks turn a shade of pink, as I realized I zoned out. I only realized because the interview was now over.
After the red carpet we meet back up with Mitch and Nicole. We headed to our seats as the awards where about to start. ______________
"Now for the category of dynamic duo," Taylor Hall tells the crowd.
"The nominations are, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn from the Dallas Stars." He continues as the camera points to them laughing.
"Patrick Kane and Johnathan Toews, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. lastly, we have Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner."
"You guys have voted at home, the winner is...Auston Matthews and Mich Marner." He announces as the lights shine down on them. We stand up the cheer as the crowd yells with excitement.
I pull Auston in for a giant hug. I know it's just a duo award but it's an award. I'm proud of him, he is the best person I know.
