Song: Welcome to the Show by Adam Lambert

Fire floods my veins and overtakes my senses.
Sweat drips down my forehead and into my eyes. My breathing comes out in short pants and my head pounds painfully. My stomach spasms with cramps and I lie on the cold tile floor of my bathroom.
I know I'm ready to bond with Draven but....even though I trust him completely I'm a little it hesitant.
The truth is, I'm scared.
But I also have desire.
Desire for my mate and to complete the bond.
Did I mention I was still locked away in the bathroom, too afraid to come out just yet? This is new and scary to me.
But the pain.
I don't know how much longer I can bear it.
I groan in pain and peel off my shirt. It's too hot and my clothes are sticking to me. I fall back down on the floor, squeezing my eyes shut and clutching my abdomen.
Another painful wave hits me, and I cry out.
"Kamaria? Kamaria, baby, you've been in there too long. I'm coming in!" Draven calls through the door.
The sound of the door breaking down hurts my sensitive ears. But a moment later, I feel arms wrap around me and pick me up. Instantly, the pain fades a bit, and sweet relief floods me. He kisses my forehead and I lean into his touch.
"I have scheduled the mating ceremony tonight. Is that alright with you?" Draven asks, setting me down on the bed. I'm shirtless with nothing but a bra on but I don't care.
His eyes.
His eyes are black.
Which means, he is getting aroused by my scent.
I pull him into me, craving his touch, craving him. The pleasurable sparks shoot through my body and Draven shivers at my touch. His touch dulls the pain and I relish in it. I feel my desire to mate peak.
His lips are warm and sweet against mine and Draven moans as I trail hot kisses along his jaw. He pins me against the wall and my hands roam his hard abs.
Draven pulls away, breathing heavily. "N-not yet. We have to wait till after the mating ceremony, little mate." He drawls, his voice husky.
I whimper at the loss of his touch and I try to restrain the desire burning through my veins the best I can. The dull throb returns in my abdomen and I wince.
"I will get the pack doctor. She can subside your pain and your symptoms till after the ceremony with herbs." Draven says, quickly leaving the room before our touch brings about anything rash.
I fall back onto the bed, clutching my stomach as the pain starts to burn me up once more. The farther Draven gets from me, the more the pain seems to swallow me.
Soon, though, a doctor comes rushing in. She's got black hair and chocolate skin. "Hello," She greets, "I am Mrs. Stephanie, and I specialize with all things she-wolf here in the pack."
"N-nice to meet y-you." I stutter through the cramps.
She smiles at me and crushes some herbal roots into a cup and mixes it with hot water. "This will keep your side effects away for a few hours. It will eventually wear off, but by the time it wears off, the mating ceremony will be over and you and your mate will be alone to complete the bond." She says.
