Roller Skating AU

"I-I don't think I can do this Connor" I informed the taller boy. I had just put on my skates and already I knew this was a terrible idea. I was still sitting down on the couch that the roller skating rink provided for people to get there skates on. Meanwhile Connor was just patiently waiting for me to get up since he actually knew how to skate.

"You'll be fine" he offered his hand out to me as he spoke, "The first step is standing up".

I stared at his hand like it would bite me, I was ninety percent sure this day was going to end with broken bones. I reluctantly grabbed his hand, what if I accidently pulled him down with me. Oh God that would be so embarrassing, I was so lost in my thoughts I wasn't ready for Connor to pull me up.

I gave out a startled squeal at the sudden movement, once I was up I could feel my balance thrown out the window. I wildly threw out my arms to desperately catch my balance which ended up throwing me more off balance then before. I knew I was going to fall so logicly I grabbed on to the closest thing near me, which just so happened to be Connor.

I felt Connor grab onto my arms, to try to and help stabilize me. Somehow with my terrible balance and the fact that I was on wheels I ended up slamming into Connor, pushing him against the lockers behind him. I felt a blush spread all across my face at the position we were in, I didn't even need to look at Connor to know he had a smirk on his face.

"My, Hansen I had no idea you were so dominant"

I quickly pushed myself off of him in embarrassment and just stood in the middle of the room. I could hear Connor laugh as he pushed himself off the wall and skated in front of me.

I refused to even look at him, maybe I could stare a hole into the ground and it can swallow me whole. "Aww, I was just teasing", I huffed in response still refusing to make eye contact with him. "Don't give me that pouty look, i'm sorry okay"

"I forgive you" I finally looked up at him to see him giving me one of his rare smiles that just melt my heart.

"We'll then shall we go to the rink now?" He offered his arm out to me which I gladly accepted holding onto his arm like a lifeline. I would like to say we skated over to the rink but it was more like Connor skated over to the rink and I was just pulled along with him. When we got to the entrance of the rink he stopped and looked at me, "You might want to let go now" he nodded to the little ramp that was used to get in.

I awkwardly let his arm free from my release so that he could get into the rink. I grabbed onto the wall and very slowly pulled myself up the ramp smiling a bit that I didn't fall. Once we were both in the rink I held onto Connor with one hand and the wall with the other. We talked as we made our way in circles around the rink.

We were about to start our next lap when Connor suddenly pulled me away from the wall and towards the middle area. "Connor w-what are you doing?!"

"You're not going to learn how to skate by holding on to the wall the whole time", That dick then let go me and before I could grab onto him again he had already skated in front of me.

"Connor i'm going to strangle you"

He let out a teasing laugh, "You'll have to catch me first". 

Sorry this is so short, I've been busy and I felt really bad about not posting anything last week so I typed this up really fast just so I could give you guys something, next one will be longer I promise
