Chapter 4 - Sight of a Speed-of-Sound Hedgehog and a Two-Tailed Fox

Blaze explained to me that the boots I'm wearing aren't any original boots, they are my weapons for defeating enemies. Before I started walking to the village, she took me to a place where no one will see us. She taught me how to at least control them when kicking to the enemy. she then trained me a few punches and defenses i can use for battle and I would have to practice them everyday but I didn't mind, I knew these would totally be handy and satisfying. Ever since Blaze was on my side, I never felt loved than before, I will get more once she promised I will meet her friends.

Blaze told me to just look around the village and she will be back to get something. It was easy for her to find me since this village turned out to be small. I have to admit, I was sort of feeling afraid from the different animals staring at me and I guess it's because I'm new here and they've never seen me before. Maybe I might bump into Amy, or that badger who's probably named Sticks. While I was slowly walking because I don't know why but going faster can make me more nervous. At least Blaze reminded me that no one in this village knew about her friend who's body is possessed permanently by me of course.

I suddenly caught sight of something blue dashing very fast and it turned out to be a blue Hedgehog. I was surprised by his speed, maybe faster than the speed of sound as he slows down to a stop. He might have noticed me and stopped because he was then staring at me for a long time while I don't know why but ended up staring at his green emerald eyes. "Sonic!" A fox arrived, coming closer to the blue Hedgehog and I was amazed that he can fly, having two tails like a helicopter which showed when he landed on the ground. "Oh hey buddy, what is it?" I guess that's his name. Tails looked at where Sonic was looking at until his eyes landed on me. His eyes widened with a cute gasp. I was still frozen onto the ground and could be because I still wasn't used to walking around here.

Thankfully I felt relieved that Blaze has arrived and found me, "Y/N Everything ok? Here wear this!" She gave me a watch which is known as a communicator and I should never take it off. "Theres no need to feel frightened around here. You seem hungry, let go and eat." I agreed and we went.

Sonic POV

I was running around very fast until I noticed a hedgehog who surely doesn't seem she belongs here in this village. When I stopped running and looked closely at her, she really looked so pretty I gotta admit. I love her appearance and those y/e/c eyes. When she was still staring at me ever since I stopped running and her eyes locked with mine. I can tell that she was satisfied from my speed and I guess she doesn't really know who I am.

"Sonic!" My best bro Tails, came flying and landed on the ground to me "Oh hey buddy, what is it?" and the new hedgehog's face showed alot of amazement when looking at him. I guess she's suprized that Tails is a fox who can fly. Tails noticed that I wasn't facing him yet and tried looking where my eyes were staring at and I heard a small gasp from him once he saw her. I wanted to go and meet her however that move was immediately cancelled because then I heard and saw Blaze reaching her, "Y/N Everything ok? Here wear this!" I saw her lending a wrist communicator which me, Tails and the whole gang already have in our wrists. Then questions went into my mind, Is she the hedgehog Amy and Sticks tried telling us about? The one who she tried protecting from egghead? Who is she really? And what made Blaze happily care for her so much?
"Theres no need to feel frightened around here. You seem hungry, let go and eat." She agreed and they both walked away. Wow Blaze must've cared happily for her so much that she didn't even notice me and Tails standing about 3 meters away from her.. None of us knew about Blaze having any of her own friends at all since she has no family and relatives except the fact that she once told us that a friend very dear to her died from a battle six months ago. She looked terrified when trying to be comforted by Blaze, but more like a trauma-terrified way.

"Who is she? Do you know her Sonic? I don't think I remember anyone like her living here" Tails' sentences brought me fully to reality. "Well that's because she actually doesn't live here and no, I never even seen a hedgehog with y/h/c hair before at all. So what did you want bro?" "The others are at Meh Burger hanging out and you're the only one absent. Let's go!" We went. Maybe a chillidog can make me more impressed than thinking of them.

Although I have a feeling we will actually get to know more about the girl we've seen with Blaze..
