Chapter 15 - Chaos Training and Looking into the Past

After we took a bite at a restaurant that looked like Meh Burger, I already told them everything but I left out the part of what I just seen when they will die. Although Sonic is very curious about the future and keeps on bothering me about it while Tails just stays quiet like he normally does since he is trying to process everything in his mind.

"C'mon N/N I wanna know what's really gonna happen to us, you realize that we can change that if you tell us right?"
"Sonic I know, it's not because I want to hold it in and I do want to tell you, but I'm worried that probably if I do, things will get worse somehow."
"Like?" I sighed.
"I could make Tails scared if I tell him his situation battle in the future and he would get too nervous to concentrate, if you try doing something else when it comes to battle the same thing might happen and maybe Silver would get a bit shocked or mad if he thinks I chat to much out of my mouth to you guys, I don't even know if I'm suppose to tell you guys about this or not."
"Okay first of all, Silv may be great in explaining stuff, but he's totally a pain when it comes to him telling us what to do for the past, present and future. Tails and I have the right to know what's going on because it's OUR OWN LIVES AND FUTURE!"
"Yeah you do got a point on that but I still don't know.."

"That's it!" Tails shouted making me and Sonic jump.
"What is it bro?" Sonic asked.
"Y/N, if you're still unsure about telling us what's going to happen or not, then don't worry, somehow I have a feeling Mephiles can be already predicting all that as well, but there's a high chance that he won't know that you, chose as the chosen one of the master emerald even exists."
"Yeah so?"
"If Mephiles doesn't know about this, he will mostly read me, Sonic's and everyone else's minds to know what are we planning of."
"Wow wait, Mephiles can read minds?" Sonic then responded to my question.
"Remember Y/N of what can Mephiles actually do. Due to the chaos emeralds we have here, he may not have the power to see images of us of where we are and stuff like that, but for himself, has the power to read minds wherever we are seen by him." After saying that, Tails then continued.

"So since he can definitely read our minds about our past and present, he can even tell whether we know about the future or not. It wouldn't be very good if he finds out that we know, so it will be better if you don't tell us, but WARN us on whatever actions we will do." Tails can be a life saver for being smart actually. Knuckles is what older than me? He's dumber than I expected while Tails is 8, not even that age is close to being a tween, and he can be a computer or even Google search.

"Sounds a great idea to me Tails, alright then N/N don't tell us what will happen. Just warn whatever we will do."
"But how? I'm just on hedgehog and I can't warn everyone in this whole village and even Angel Island."
"That's why you have us, we got your back N/N, you mostly will be the leader of us from now on so you can make the right decisions faster. Whatever you need us to do we'll do it right away." Sonic winked and showed thumbs up to me. Then Tails spoke.
"Yup! Of course we will expect a lot of people will die, but we as a team won't lose each other forever!" Tails and Sonic then bumped fists together and looked at me.
"C'mon N/N, bump fists with us, we need to do this together!"

Happy Tears welled up in my eyes and I tried my best to not let any of them fall down as I made a fist on my right hand and bumped it with theirs.

"Thanks you guys.. can't I owe you anything at all?"
"Nah, what you can only do for me is to not stop me from my next run I'll do right now, see ya in training!" Sonic then dashed away, leaving me and Tails.

"Anything I can do for you?"
"Nah don't worry, I'll maybe just- Oh wait!" Tails then smirked at me.
"What?"
"You love Sonic right?"
"Wait what?"
"What if you let me make a date for the two of you?"
"WHAT?! Oh no no no, Tails I'm begging you let me owe you something else!"
"But whyy?"
"I don't even know if he even likes me, he treats me as family but he can't really fall in love with me, besides Amy is already in love with him as well."
"He actually does."
"Wha?"
"He's been into you ever since."
"How did you even know that?"
"C'mon don't pretend to be dumb with me Y/N Sonic is my big brother, we always share stuff. So you see..."
