Chapter 22 - Why Does This Have to Happen?

Sonic's POV

Three days have passed since Y/N's disappearance. At the moment I was leaning against the tree facing the forest in front of me. I kept on thinking and remembering what I've did when I heard what made Y/N go missing that day, every word I've heard got me mad..

Flashback on three days ago when Sonic hears the news.

"We honestly thought that saying these things to her is for her own good. But it turned out to be a mistake." Amy tried explaining to me, but just like what she expected, I turned my fury towards Shadow..

"Tch.. your new friend there happens to be dramatic, but yet I don't think she's much in danger.. She still has the skills that Silver taught her and anyway, she better be-"

I dashed and pushed him until his back got hit hard against the tree, I was still on him gripping him with fury, I heard Amy in the background trying to tell us to stop but I ignored her and continued focusing on him..

"DRAMATIC? YOU'VE KNOWN HER WHAT, LESS THAN A FEW DAYS?!? DO YOU EVEN BOTHER KNOWING WHAT HER PROBLEMS CAN BE PART OF WHATS HAPPENING HERE?!?"

Shadow shouted back at me.

"DID YOU EVER HALLUCINATE EVER SINCE YOU GOT CHAOS ENERGY WITHIN YOU?! IF NOT THEN THAT MEANS HER PROBLEMS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT'S HAPPENING"

"EVEN SO! SHE HAD A HARD TIME COPING MANY THINGS ON HER OWN!"

"SHE NEEDS TO GET USE TO THAT COPING BEFORE GOING TO BATTLE! "

I tried punching him in the right side of his head but he quickly dashed out of my grasp and continued his words,

"Whoever in this group can't fight and has pathetic problems even though belongs to a situation in battle, he or she still don't belong to be with any of you people. You should think about that." Shadow walked away but I said something that stopped him,

"Then what about Maria?"

He still stood there

"She gets involved in your own situations and yet she doesn't even know how to fight! You still happened to keep her with you right?!"

I was then pushed against a tree with Shadow's hand grasping on my neck while I kept pushing his head with my own hand to prevent being strangled,

"You don't know anything much about her, never talk about her again you idiot!"

"You don't know anything much about Y/N either! So what's the difference?? Her being a hedgehog and Maria being human or what?! TELL ME!!"

Shadow concentrated on trying to push his hand against my neck to strangle be but couldn't with my own hand pushing his head on the way. I then kicked him strongly and got him flying backwards which leaves me facing the others.

"AND ALL OF YOU! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU!? I HOPE WHAT YOU SAID ISN'T ON PURPOSE TO GET RID OF HER!! WHY DIDN'T YOU HELP HER EVEN IF IT'S NON OF YOUR OWN PROBLEMS HERE?!"

Everyone horrifyingly stayed silent as I continued,

"We are a team right? We should always stick together even whenever anything goes wrong right? So why didn't you help her when she was literally calling for help?!"
