Shadow and I already received contact from Tails that they've found 2 chaos emeralds. I guess we have 4 more to go since we still have the first one.
We were walking to a different place where there was nothing but large rocks around. It's like the place was a huge Stonehenge.
"I'm sensing one." Shadow said, narrowing his eyes. He seemed to notice something off in a further distance away. When I tried looking where he was looking at, I couldn't see anything but more huge rocks. But come to think of it, even though no one except us are here, this place seems strangely quiet. Not even a cool wind breeze we can feel. I am absolutely not Shadow, but I can sense something bad that's going to happen as well as I felt a nerve twitching in my stomach. I clutch tightly on to my hammer to prepare from what's going to attack us. I noticed it right away when I saw Shadow's eyes shot wide open.
"GET DOWN!!" he shouted while he jumped and dragged me down on the floor. There was some sort of huge explosion which nearly flinged us away if Shadow hadn't dragged us to the ground. I was too busy shutting my eyes tightly to prevent the dust and wind blowing that I didn't even realize that Shadow was protecting me from the explosion with both of his arms around me while laying on the ground and his head almost touching mine. When I noticed that, I didn't know why my face started heating up and I was scared he would notice.
"You ok?" He said while standing up wiping off the dust off him and then took my hand to help me stand. "Y-yeah..." I stuttered still don't know what to process here..
Suddenly I heard an evil laugh. It wasn't Eggman, not even Mephiles because for sure, he shouldn't have made it to our world yet. But Shadow widened his eyes again,
"It can't be..." He whispered loudly enough for me to hear him.
"It's been a while.. SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG!"
I finally managed to see his whole appearance. Despite not knowing who the hell that is, he seriously looked so scary...
'Wh-who are you?!" I stuttered loudly. And he came closer to us, making Shadow defend me more.
