**Gerard's POV**
"Is it ready?" I asked, glancing over at Josh.
He nodded.
"It's ready whenever you are."
I gulped and took a deep breath.
I started at the blank laptop screen in front of me, and pressed down on the touchpad.
Frank's face came up on the screen, with another boy behind him.
"Gerard!"
Frank's voice floated through the screen and into my ears.
"Oh my god- H-Hello Frank! It's y-you!"
A grin formed on his face, as he adjusted his camera.
"What a fantastic observation, Gee. Did you come up with that all by yourself?"
That sarcastic little shit.
"Shut up, Frank," I took a moment to contain my laughter and genuine excitement of seeing Frank's face again.
I squinted my eyes to the corner of the screen, finally seeing the bit behind Frank,
"Who's that?"
Frank smiled, "Oh. That's Miles."
The boy - Miles - shuffled towards the camera and waved at me.
"Hello." He said, smiling as I waved back.
I racked my brain for a socially acceptable thing to say to a fellow human being... I was not skilled in the art of socialising.
All my brain could come up with was the cliché, second grade response... and of course it's the one I went with.
"That's a nice name."
Miles laughed a little. "Thank you," He said, understanding my troubles with talking.
"Don't worry. Your boyfriend is safe here. I won't let anything bad happen to him."
That completely caught me off guard.
"Ah what?"
"I could tell you were nervous about Frank. It's okay."
"I... uh," I readjusted where my ass sat in the chair, and spun to face Josh, "do you want to say something?"
Josh scrambled off his feet and dashed to the laptop.
Frank's face lit up. "Josh!" He screeched.
"Frank!" Josh screeched back, mocking him a little.
"How's the big city? Is it colder- TIMES SQUARE! WHAT'S TIMES SQUARE LIKE?! Have you met Spider-Man yet? Are the pretzels really as big as people say? Is it pretty? When are you going on T? Have you met your surgeon yet? Are you having fun? Do-"
I didn't think Josh would shut up, until I heard Frank's voice cut through all the questions.
"Josh! Calm down!"
Josh awkwardly smiled, blushing a little.
Frank laughed. "The big city is incredible. Yes it's very fucking colder. Times Square is everything you'd imagine. I hate Spider-Man. The pretzels are fucking huge. It's very pretty. I'm going on T when I can. No I have not met my surgeon, and yes I'm having fun."
"Alright... alright... Good luck, you little shit."
"Thanks, Joshie."
Josh quivered at that nickname, before walking away.
I smiled again, "I'll let you guys go. Goodnight Miles, and Frank."
"Goodnight." They both chorused.
I swirled my finger around on the mousepad and clicked the red button, which turned the screen black for a moment, before showing the words 'Call Ended' across the laptop.
I took a deep sigh and leant back in my chair.
Josh got up and walked to my side.
"Are you going to tell him about Ronnie-"
"No."
I got up from my chair.
Josh pressed his hand on my shoulder, "He's your boyfriend, and he cares about you-"
"That's exactly why I'm not going to tell him. I don't want him to worry."
"Gerard, that's his job. He loves you-"
He tightened his grip on my shoulder.
My voice became shaky, "Please don't tell him. Please."
I looked deeply into Josh's eyes, looking for understanding.
His face showed a series of conflicted expressions, before he finally took a deep breath and nodded reluctantly.
He slowly pulled his hand back to his side.
"Fine. I won't tell him."
"Don't tell anyone," I snapped desperately, "except for Tyler, and myself."
Josh groaned.
"But if it gets worse-"
I grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulling his face close to mine.
"Don't. Tell. Anyone."

This chapter was very rushed and I'm sorry about that.
I didn't get the chance to update sooner which sucked a lot but I'm back and updates will be more frequent.
