ch 14. Another mistake

After searching all day long for Sayori, you sat down in Yuri's backyard. You had to do something, anything. You all had gone searching all day, everywhere, but Monika had Sayori. If she could take Sayori, then the other girls needed to stay mentally strong, which meant training and getting proper rest. If you lost them, the fight was already over.

You pushed the palm of your hand into your eyes again. There had to have been somewhere Monika would take Sayori. You knew you needed to find her, desperately so. You were exhausted, you had gone all over town asking people if they saw her, and nothing appeared. You were becoming paranoid. Of all the girls, you had become closer to Sayori most.

You felt completely stranded, and you desperately wanted to know if Sayori was safe. Everything was a blur and you could hardly focus on anything Natsuki and Yuri were saying. You could hardly sleep, and when you did it was filled with dreams of Monika taunting you. That's when it hit you. You knew exactly where Sayori was, but it was nearly impossible to get there. The glitched-out classroom was only accessed after Monikas ending, but you had a feeling it could still be open somewhere else. But where? Was Sayori even still alive? What was the point of fighting if you could lose your new friends?

Thoughts raced through your head so quickly everything else vanished. Suddenly, you were in the glitched classroom. Monika smirks at you. "I've been expecting you. It took you a while to actually access this, maybe they were wrong about your potential power." She looks unimpressed and completely terrifying. You look around frantically, and find Sayori in the corner of the room, but it's too dark to see her. "Don't worry about her, she won't die unless I want her to. If you think you can stop this... You are trully foolish." Monika's tone is cold, and she reaches out and touches your face. You try to pull away, but you find you can't move. "You really are cute. I wonder what we could do with you...." She looks slightly amused at the fact that you are powerless against her words. But suddenly she is thrown back, and the classroom disappears. Your back in Yuri's yard, and Natsuki and Yuri are starting at you in complete shock. You can faintly hear them, but unfortunately you are to drained to do anything. Maybe a nap would be nice. You had no choice in the matter, and you quickly fall asleep.
