I open my eyes.

I feel a sharp sting. I look down, and I have a large slash on my stomach. I look further up.

Monika's sword is on the floor. It does seem to be what cut me, but why would she drop it?

My eyes keep travelling up. There is a sword in Monikas stomach. It is not my sword.

I hear my own sword clatter to the ground. Monika begins coughing, and I look her in the eyes. Her eyes are a dull green now. She's coughing up blood. She looks over to the sword, and I lock eyes with Yuri. Tears are streaming down her face, and she lets go of the sword. Monika collapses onto her knees, clawing at the sword. We both kneel down beside her. There are tears streaming down her face. She reaches out and grabs Yuri's hand. Yuri doesn't pull back. Monika places her other hand on her face. "Thank you." She whispers faintly. Yuri sobs and barely manages to utter a sound. She sniffles. "Why did you do it? I was so happy with you. We were happy. Why?" She pleads. Monika rubs her thumb on Yuri's cheek, leaving a stain of blood. "I couldn't stop him." She coughs out. Yuri clings onto Monika, but her life is beginning to fade away. Yuri embraces her. "Isn't there a way we can save you? We can beat him, he won't be able to control you anymore." She becomes frantic, her breathing speeding up. Monika pulls back and looks her in the eyes. I look around for Natsuki and find that she is kneeling beside me. I grab onto her and Yuri. Since everyone is touching I know I can do it. We are no longer in the classroom. I become a bit light headed in doing so, but we can now get everyone help. Natsuki realizes she is the only one who can walk, and runs to get help. I stay silent. The girls quietly murmur secrets to one another. I don't interrupt them. Several nurses rush into the courtyard.

I don't remember vividly what happened, but I do remember I was taken in for stitches. The next few days were spent being spoon fed and wishing I was healthy enough to see my friends. I was dying to see Sayori. I didn't know how she was other then what the nurses said when I asked. Yuri came and visited me since she was healthy, and that's when everything began to make sense. Yuri explained in much more detail then I have gotten. I don't want to recall all of the things she said, but I do know this; we are facing something far more dangerous then the tyrant of only one world. Monika wasn't the one in control, and her powers were practically nothing compared to the Emperor, her father. Monika and Yuri had been... romantically involved before the Emperor became power driven, and they don't even know what cause that either. A lot of questions are still unanswered. Monika appears to still be in control of herself, but it may be temporary. Now we must find the Emperor and stop him. I drop my head back onto my pillow after the conversation, still processing what has happened in the past few days. Yuri left silently, and I fell asleep once again.
