My whole body is taken over by a new power. One I've never sensed in myself. His eyes show no fear, only a hint of amusement. His eyes flicker, and I feel the power growing stronger. I unsheathe my sword and suddenly I'm no longer standing. My powers and teleporting have never been so powerful but I've never tried it just by myself. I swing my sword down and suddenly I'm behind him. He moved to the side, the sword barely grazing his arm. A trickle of blood. He sneers.

He draws his own sword, immediately slashing at my throat. I dodge and parry his strike. Another sword swipes towards him and he effortlessly dodges while swinging towards my legs. I jump back and suddenly he charges and slams me to the ground. I hear clashing of swords and wince as I leap back up with my sword at ready. Anger fuels my moves and I seize the energy it gives me, slashing in his direction several times. I hear the girls slashing away as well, but his sword skills are unmatched. We can't win against him like this, not when he parries every attack thrown at him. I see the blood dripping and I know what I need to do.

Suddenly, I feel a stinging sensation on my side. I turn around.

Sayori. Her eyes a sickening shade of green.

I can't.

Not her.

No.

She swings again, her skills stronger than ever. She knows all my weakness's, swing for my arms and legs. I parry, and attempt to disarm her. She quickly swings up and slashes my cheek, and I knock the sword out of her hands. I hear a cry of pain from behind me, quickly turning to find Natsuki out of sight. Yuri lies in a puddle of blood, and my breath hitches. I quickly turn and Sayori stands before me, sword slicing right towards my neck. I barely dodge and my sword clatters to the ground. I reach for it, stumbling. A sudden slash to my sword arm causes me to cry out in pain. I grab the sword and slash upwards, shattering the sword in her hands. She climbs on top of me and begins to choke me, and I try to push her off of me. She won't let go.

I can't hurt her.

Do it.

No.

NOW

Sayori flies back against a wall and falls unconscious and I wince, hoping with every ounce of me she's okay. I quickly harness my powers, teleporting behind him again. My sword slashes down and hits solid flesh. The smell of the blood makes my stomach clench. This was the only way he wouldn't be able to predict my movement. Monika cries out and suddenly I realize the ground isn't under my feet. Monika is dangled over the side of a cliff. I, however, have fallen. I focus my energy and I'm back up, slashing yet again. This time it was his sword arm, and I hear the sword clatter to the ground.

"Kill me and I let her fall" he says calmly. I go to lower my sword. Suddenly from behind me I hear rustling. My heart leaps into my throat and I cry out "NO!" but it's too late. Natsuki's sword is buried in the heart of the man, blood gushing out in great amounts.

"There will be more. You will not win." He coughs up blood, and I hear a shriek.

"What have you done!" I hear Yuri's voice choked up. I turn towards the side of the cliff, praying to all the gods she hasn't fallen all the way yet. I focus my powers and teleport midair to where Monika is falling. I grab her and attempt to teleport but my powers seem to suddenly drain. I grab her and position my body to take the fall. I keep telling myself that I wasn't falling for as long so I won't get hurt as much, but her body could crush me. I focus my powers once again but they still falter. I brace myself, hoping this isn't the end. I try once more, and we're no longer midair, but on the palace floor. Monika still lands on me roughly, and I hear a crack. I feel searing pain in my rib cage. I roll her off, turning to see a knife plunged into her back. The last thing I manage to do is grab Natsuki's hand as she clings onto a barely conscious Sayori and an unconscious Yuri. Everything fades...
