Quick note; we're back to y/n perspective. Let's see what's happening ;_;

Everybody is really confused about exactly what is going on. All I know about this whole situation is that Monika has Sayori, and I can go to the place she's being held. Yuri has been frantically trying to see if I can bring her and Natsuki to give us the upper hand in the fight, but I'm really starting to give up. The girls have been preparing all night, training me more sword moves and packing weapons and food. I just am starting to doubt myself.

I was just a normal person with a normal partime job. I was some loser who lived alone in an apartment complex. I barely had any friends at the college I was going to, and my reputation was just the fact that I was a gamer nerd. The only thing that made me happy was my YouTube channel, but it was really hard to keep up with it while working a job and taking classes at night. My life hadn't been the best, and now a whole planet was depending on me to save them all. I barely knew the real Yuri, Natsuki, and Sayori. They didn't know what my past was like. They didn't know me. My mind was in a spiral. Defeating Monika could mean killing her. Was I willing to take her life, even with her horrible tyranny?

Just as I started thinking about it, my body started vanishing again. Yuri clenched tightly onto my hand, and Natsuki gasped softly. Both of the girls started disappearing with me. This time,we were in what appeared to be an ancient palace. It was in shambles, but the girls both had grim looks on their face. This place was familiar to the both of them.

"This used to be Emperor Onyx's palace. He was banished by Monika once she came upon her powers..." Yuri suddenly stops in the middle of her sentence, and I instantly realize why. Monika sits on the throne, with Sayori by her side. Sayori stares blankly ahead, seeing none of us. Monika chuckles, and it resonates throughout the entire throne room. I instantly start pacing forward, and draw the beautiful engraved sword Sayori had hidden underneath her bed. She had always told me it was for emergencies, and this certainly was one. Monika sneers at me, and suddenly a sword suddenly appears in her hand. "You really shouldn't have come her, y/n." Monika's anger radiates through the room. Yuri draws her Katana, and Natsuki pulls a short sword. Monika becomes a whirlwind of movement, and the fight begins.

Yuri runs forward and slashes at Monika, but Monika dodges and slashes her leg. Sayori runs forward and I parry her attack. Natsuki jumps in and begins fighting Sayori. "This is your chance to stop her. GO!" Natsuki's face furrows in concentration as she dodges Sayori's attacks and attempts to dissarm her. I quickly sprint towards Monika, instantly stabbing at her legs. She parry's, and my veins are pounding with adrenaline fueled rage. My powers throw her backwards but she manages to pull herself up quickly, and stabs at my chest. I barely manage to dodge, and nearly trip over myself. Monika looks quite annoyed, but suddenly she isn't looking at me. She whips around and grabs the blade of Yuri's katana. Blood drips to the floor from her hand. She must have realised Yuri was close enough to stab her through the heart. My heart leaps into my throat, and Monika stabs Yuri in the leg. Yuri collapses to the ground, and I quickly leap forward. Before I know what happening, my sword is in my hand and the blade is in Monika's stomach. She gasps, and blood spurts out of her mouth. My eyes widen in shock, and I quickly pull the sword out. Monika holds onto her wound, and blood pours out. My sword clatters to the ground. I close my eyes and try to ignore the blood on my hands. Natsuki manages to dissarm Sayori and knocks her out with the hilt of her short sword. Natsuki runs up, and puts a hand on my shoulder, trying to reassure me everything is okay. Monika coughs, and suddenly the blood starts disappearing. Monika cackles, and instantly stabs at me. She manages to stab my thigh, but the sword gets caught. The wound she had just moments ago is gone.

Suddenly she vanishes, and a fire has caught behind the throne in the kitchens and dining rooms. It's spreading quickly, and coming closer. I slowly pull monika's sword out of my leg. I jump up and immediately rush over to Sayori's unconscious body. I frantically attempt to pick her up, but my leg collapses. "Natsuki, help me!" I frantically shout, and she runs over. We carefully scoop her up and all go to the closest exit. As soon as we get out, Yuri pulls of her bag and brings out medical supplies. She begins bandaging her own leg, and hands me materials to do so to my own leg as well. I wrap it up and stand up. I'm no longer in shock, and I grimace in pain. I hobble over to where we put Sayori down, and sit next to her. Yuri and Natsuki whisper harshly at each other, both looking quite frightened. I try shaking Sayori awake, and slowly she comes to. She sits up quickly and attempts to stand. I put a hand on her chest to stop her, and she stays sitting. "You need to rest. Please." I barely manage to say.

"What happened. Where am I?!" Sayori seems distant, and she's clearly panicking. I reach over and grab her hands, forcing her to look at me. "You're going to be okay. We're safe." I reinforce my words by squeezing her hands. "No. No we aren't safe. Monika is still out there. We're stranded miles from the only place relatively home, and it's cold, and.... Did I do that to you???" She points at the gash in my leg and I frantically shake my head no. Tears are streaming down her face, and my attempts to calm her aren't working. "You're to late. It's to late. We're going to lose. How could we beat her? She's to strong, you have no idea what she's capable of." She chokes out her last sentence, clearly upset. I pull her in and hug her tightly as she heaves in breathes and sobs into my shirt. I try to calm her down by rubbing her back with my hand, and her breathing begins to steady. She pulls back from the hug slowly, and looks me in the eyes. "I'm sorry. I know we can beat her, it's just gonna be dangerous and I don't want to lose you. There's a high chance if you die that you won't come back like we do, because it's up to Monika who comes back." She looks sincere, and severely shaken, as if this is a sudden realization.

"We need to get some rest, you two. We'll plan out what our next move is tomorrow, but we can't do it without and sleep." Yuri announces. Sayori nods her head, and we set up a hasty camp with a very small fire to keep us warm. "Goodnight you guys." I murmur to the group. Yuri and Natsuki say goodnight back, but Sayori just says "sleep well." I lay down and slowly let myself doze off into a light sleep.

SO! Things got a bit more intense in this chapter but honestly it was probably not really intense because idk if I did a good job with the fight itself lol. Anywho, I love you guys and I sincerely hope you enjoyed this chapter. Love, Xan.
