You arrive at Yuri's house, but all the lights are off. You decide you'll check the backyard before you do so. As you open the gate, you hear a rustle behind you.
"Natsuki?" You whisper roughly. Natsukie climbs out of the bushes. She has a look of fear and confusion in her eyes. That's when you notice it. The knife. In her hands.
And her eyes.... green.
Emerald green.
You notice the sweat dripping down her face and the shake in her hands. "Natsuki, put down the knife. Please." You urge her. "I-i can't..." she murmurs.
It isn't her voice. You move forward as quickly as you can and reach for her wrist. She slashes out and cuts your arm, but you manage to grab her arm and twist it. She drops the knife and you look around frantically. The knife is the only weapon around. You grab it, and hit her in the head with the handle. This manages to knock her out.
Yuri opens the gate, hearing the commotion. She looks in horror at your friend collapsed on the ground. You both silently carry her into the back yard. Yuri looks up and you... And then you realise your bleeding. Much more then you thought.
The blood got on Natsuki, and on your shirt and pants. In fact it's on your face, too. You feel light headed. You sit down, and Yuri runs inside to grab medical supplies.
You start to wonder and realize it isn't enough to kill you. Even if it was.... It would be a peaceful way to die. The breeze, the smell of freshly mowed grass, the rustling of the trees.... You feel very sleepy. You push your self off the ground as Yuri walks up. She cuts off the rest of your sleeve and starts treating it. Natsuki begins coming to, and Yuri's gasps softly. She bandages your arm and you both turn to Natsuki. She sits up groaning. "What the hell happened...." She asks, her voice rumbly. "Natsuki..... She's coming back. We have less time then we thought. We need to teach him about the ribbon." Yuri looks you dead in the eye but you can't help but burst into laughter. "How the hell could a ribbon be dangerous?" You sputter out between giggles. Both girls look at you seriously. "Oh dear. What have I gotten myself into..." You mutter.
