Amber pov
Walking into the kitchen Zach was resting his head on the marble island regretting life decisions.
"Morning sunshine!" I shouted Zach flinched and rubbed his head which I assume was tender from his hangover.
"Morning jerk" he grunted resting his elbow on the counter and using his hand as a pillow.
I smirked at him his face giving me a scowl.
"I'm a idiot" he mumbled under his breath.
"No you are a idiot who made a bad decision" I corrected as I start making coffee.
"You should have been there to stop the said bad decision"
"I didn't know where you were nobody did!" I spat at him angrily
He flinched at my sudden outburst.
"I'm sorry"
"You had me worried sick!" I shout angrily sounding like a worried parent that hasn't seen their child in a couple hours.
"Was my mom worried?"He asked suddenly.
After a couple hours of waiting for Zach to calm down and hoping he would come to my house.
I grab my keys and drive to zachs house seeing if he went home.
Climbing out of the car I march to the front door and walk in without warning.
Zach mom sat in the living room watching the ranch in her pajamas.
"What are you doing?!" I spat at her
"What does it look like!"
"It looks like you don't care your son hasn't been seen in hours!"
"You cant just burst into my house and disrespect me!"
"We should be looking for him!"
"What for, he will be fine!"
"He could be in danger"
"He.is. fine"
"Mentally or physically?"
"Get out!" She boomed
I run out and climb Into my car.
"If No one is looking for him I will find him myself" I mumble to myself.
"Amber!" Zach shouted
"What?"
"You went to your own little world I asked did my mom worry about me?"
"No" I mumble
Hurt flashed in Zachs eyes.
"Did you?" He asked
"Yes"
"Where's your mom?"
"She's at a funeral out if town"
"Can I stay for a couple days?"
"Sure"
