I should have pulled away

What was happening? Tom was engaged! I had a boyfriend or at least I wasn't aware we broke up although it wouldn't surprise me with everything going on. I knew I should pull away but I was kind of trapped in his arms. I was also enjoying it at the same time as wanting it to end. It was warm and fuzzy and I had stopped crying now. After a couple of minuets,to my relief he pulled away.

"I am so sorry!" I replied scared he was going to go off on one at me but he didn't.

"No no it was my fault I kissed you" he replied softly

" I should have pulled away though" I answered feeling regretful

"I should have pulled away too" he muttered he went to get up and walk away but I knew it wouldn't help. So I had to say something.

"Tom, walking away now will make this worse we need to work out what to do, I really don't want this to affect our friendship" I said cautiously to my surprise he turned around and sat back down next to me

" I don't want it to affect our friendship either" he replied sadly "but what about Jade and Ethan"

"This will sound entirely crazy but I am thinking about telling Ethan" I muttered " I think he should know the truth"

"He will break up with you Belle,you know that don't you" Tom muttered

" yes I had established that, but to have a dishonest relationship" I replied " I have hurt him enough already without making it worse by lying"

"I know, I should tell Jade but I can't do it and if you tell Ethan it will get round to her, I guess I am the chicken here" he answered regretfully.

" hey your not the chicken, we have to tell them Tom. I bet Jade will be angry for a day but will soon come round" I answered truthfully "you have been together to long, she knows your trustworthy"

" are you sure?" He said doubtfully

" You and Jade are the sweetest couple, you have been together for a long, long time. You belong together she will understand you were trying to make me feel better and It was a accident, if your open and honest it will be easier for her than her hearing it by accident in a years time" I replied

He nodded and the pair of us vowed we would go back to the tents and get Ethan and Jade to talk to us we would then speak to each other at some point although we doubted that would be hard as we were going to get chucked out.

As we arrived at the tent everyone looked pleased to see us I glanced at Tom before whispering good luck which he returned. I walked up to Ethan.

" you alright Babe?" He asked seeing my insecurity.

"Urr can we talk somewhere more private?" I asked scared

" sure babe" he replied getting up and following me to the forest.I found a bench and sat on it.

"What's up babe?" He looked at me

" Ethan, I have done something terrible" I sobbed

"No no your a lovely girl who has just been unlucky" he answered he thought I was talking about my past which Tom had told me Millie had shared.

"No I have done something really stupid" I cried

"No no no your just shocked from what happened yesterday....." He continued but I cut him off

" ETHAN I KISSED TOM" I yelled

" what just now, how long have you liked him, I knew you were to good to be true" he screamed

" I have never liked him" that was no lie.

"But you kissed him! My cousin, My room mate" Ethan yelled
