Don't let me go

I wasn't thinking straight I tumbled through a jungle of tent pegs and wires. I wasn't using the main path just falling around tents. I passed several groups of teens already drunk at 11o'clock In the morning. That used to be me. I thought remembering the days when I was 100% carefree. I missed those days. Around me there was abustle of noise and happiness I was trapped in it all caught up like a fish in a net. I turned a corner.

"BELLE!" Yelled a voice I turned and it was Jake. He ran up to me and said " Have you not found your group yet?"

"Oh I found them alright, I just discovered I am not in the mood I can't even take a joke. So I am going to get the shuttle bus to the station and get a train to Birmingham were I will probably catch the next plane back to Ireland" I cried

"Calm" whispered Jake."Just breath"

I struggled to find breath, he hugged me. It felt like we were back at high school. It was beautiful. I wanted to go back. I wanted to feel like I was back. He held me tightly in his arms and I didn't want him to let go. I had known him since before I started school. I loved him and he cared for me. I never wanted him to let go. I heard footsteps running but I didn't look up. My thoughts were ruined by Jake saying "Belle, your boyfriend and all your mates are staring at us"

"No" I cried without thinking"don't let me go"

"belle, are you okay" Jake murmured presumably my tears were now starting to wet his t shirt. For once in my life I answered truthfully.

"No" I said

He let me go and I sank to the floor. I heard footsteps run behind me and Jake knelt down beside me. " Babe, you will be alright. I promise you that. I will make sure you get back to Ireland safely" It was then I heard the voices.

"Ireland! Your going back to Ireland?" Yelled Ethan "you didn't think to tell us"

"I.....I..... Only just decided I would" I cried back.

" right so one thing goes wrong and you pack you bags and leave" added Tom

" come on Belle. It's over now. You can stay finish uni" stated Eddie

"You have done so well up and until now, you can't turn your back on everything" added Esme

" Belle, what about you friends here like us" I heard Jade's voice say

"Yeah we will support you" Lauren put in

"It can only get better Belle!" Millie said cautiously.

Rupert put a hand on my shoulder and whispered. " you have something you didn't have last time... Us "

I cracked. I jumped up furiously. I span around to face the group. It felt like a years worth of anger was about to show itself. " It's alright for you! You will never understand what I have seen, what I have dealt with, why I am who I am. You just think I am running away from the problem, well I am not. I want a better life. A clean sheet. A fresh start. I want to go back to were it all began. Relive the moment my world changed. Go back to wear I became a adult. I used to be pure and innocent but now what I have is gone" I was crying now my head was spinning but I continued " I didn't just grow up like a lot of people. I had my childhood stolen from me! I grew up to fast because my life changed! I want to go back to where it happened and vow to myself it will never happen again"

I got up picked up my bag and walked off. I headed for the exit sign. I could see the stage and it all came flooding back to me.

Ethan's POV

I was so confused. Was she possessed? I went to run after her but Millie grabbed me. "No" she replied

"I can't just leave her"I yelled trying to fight of the blonde. Tom decided to be unhelpful and help her hold me back

"Listen to Mils, Mate!" Added Tom " her eyes a pleading to tell you something"

I stopped struggling and stared at Millie. The group formed a little circle intrigued to hear what she had to say.

" When Belle was 15 she had a really rough time. She was a prisoner." The group looked shocked "she was locked up by herself. She no longer saw herself to be of any value. She began to slowly waste away. She isolated herself, cut herself off from the world. She was more excluded than ever. She took her anger out on herself which controlled her physically and mentally. She was ripping herself apart, literally to find out were she belonged" a tear ran down My check the whole group looked at me "she tried to end the pain several times but each time something caused her to fail. Anyway after 3 years she got herself back under control things were going well until her mum was diagnosed with cancer and although it was 100% treatable she had to watch her mum become more ill with every treatment. She had to become a adult to help but the excess pressure made her revert back to old ways old habits but this time worse than ever she found who she was but the person was so lost in amongst the problems that she lost herself completely trying to for fill society's wishes. She wants to find out who she should have become"

The group was silent.

I walked off. I was full on crying now and I was embarrassed. Rupert followed me.

Toms POV

I couldn't leave her. If everyone was going to go back and be sad about what they had just learned they would never see Belle again. I was upset but losing her wasn't a option. I had to get her back.

I ran down the path fighting against all the people coming in. I could see a girl a little way ahead presumably Belle except she was heading for the forest I side tracked along the forest path were there was more room to run. I could see her ambling into the wood. I got inside the forest and found her on a little bench by a pond.

A pond I thought. A pond. I ran and sat next to her. She seemed to like hugs so I wrapped my arms around her and said " Belle, I know the truth now" she was shaking so I offered her my jacket. She declined but I could feel she was cold.

"You have come to tell me I am a lost cause. Or it will get better" she sobbed

" no" I replied "Belle I know why your like it" she looked up at me and it just happened. I felt my lips touch hers.
