Dear Log,
It has been exactly two days, three hours and 12 minutes since Cedric Diggory confessed that he had taken my apple (whom I now call Lisle so Diggory doesn't know what I'm talking about).
I have come up with the following plan to rescue Lisle from the dreadful Cedric.
Tomorrow at lunch, I will explain to Zoe that a rather large first year has lost all their robes and cannot leave their room and attend classes, because they have nothing to wear. I will tell Zoe that the first year would quite like a pair of robes so that they can move about freely. I will ask her not to tell anyone about the first year's condition, because he is rather embarrassed.
Zoe, who is rather socially connected in Hufflepuff, will go to one of the Prefects and acquire a pair of Hufflepuff robes. She will give them to me and I will stow them in my chest.
Tomorrow night at dinner, I will grab as much food as humanly possible and hide it in my robes. Later, I will hide the food from my dorm room.
That will end Phase Two.
The next day, I will go and eat breakfast with everyone. I will then attend my first three classes. Once the third class is out, it will be time for lunch. This is when I'll leave and go to my room.
In my room, I will dye my hair a chestnut brown. (I have been considering doing this for awhile and this is really the push I needed to finally just do it. Thankfully, I had the dye for when I was ready.)
Once the dying process is complete, it will be nearing the end of the day.
I will put on the Hufflepuff robes and Phase Two will be done.
Phase Three is where it really gets tricky. I will need to crouch down behind an overstuffed armchair and wait until dinner is completely over and so are the classes.
Luckily, I won't get hungry because of the dinner I took a day earlier.
After I have finished eating my food, I will wait until the Hufflepuff Common Room is full and then go and sit down.
Once I have sat down and an well blended, I shall search for Cedric.
Once I finally see Cedric, I will follow him up to his dorm room. If he asks me what I'm doing, I will lie and say that I'm a new student.
Eventually, he will leave and then I shall search for my apple until I finally find it!
And my devious plan will be complete.
I must be well rested for tomorrow! I will write in you later.
