When I arrived in Chicago it was 11:15 at night, 45 minutes before My Chem's concert started. I just needed to find the venue. I asked around town until I finally got an answer. When I did, I took a cab to the venue. When I tried to get behind stage, a security guard stopped me.
"Excuse me where do you think you're going? The concert is over there." He said.
"I know but I have to get to my boyfriend! Where is he?" I asked frantically.
"Look, I don't who you're talking about."
"Mikey? Mikey Way? He's my boyfriend I gotta see him!"
"I've heard that line before. I can't let you through here. Nice try."
"What? I'm not just a fan I need to get to him! Mikey!"
"Tell me whatever story you want. I'm not letting you through."
He grabbed my arm tightly and started to squeeze it. I saw Mikey about to go on stage. He looked sad and annoyed. He looked like he didn't even wanna play.
"Mikes!!" I screamed.
I watched Mikey look around for who called him. He knew it was me and his face lit up. I screamed again and he turned to see the guard holding me tightly.
"(Y/n)? Hey! Let her go!" Mikey said running to me.
I smiled in relief.
"You know her?" The guard asked letting me go.
"She's my princess." Mikey said.
We picked me up and kissed me as the guard walked away.
"I didn't think you'd make it, baby." He said.
"Sorry I'm late. I missed my first flight, then the second was--"
"I don't care. You're here now. That's all that matters. That's all I want."
He kissed me passionately, pulling my face close. I pulled his face closer to kiss him better. Suddenly a voice behind us called out to Mikey. We turned around and saw Ray.
"C'mon man, we're about--(y/n) you made it!" He said.
"Hey Ray!" I said happily.
"Babe I want you to have someth--"
"Mikey!" Ray shouted.
"Sorry, after the show." Mikey said kissing my cheek.
He pulled me to backstage to hear them better. After the show, he came backstage, spun me around then kissed me.
"Baby, you said you wanted me to have something?"
"Oh right!"
"I thought you would want to have my last name." He said taking out a small blue box.
Mikey opened the box to reveal a silver ring with a blue jem on it.
"Mikes, ar-are you serious?!" I asked surprised.
"I guess we're both a little late."
"It's fine, baby, but here? "
"Yes baby. Will you be my princess forever and marry me?"
"Yes Mikey of course!"
I put on the ring as he stood up. I kissed him deeply as he picked me up and kissed back.
"(Y/n) Way. Your name sounds so good with mine already." He said.
"I love you so much baby."
"I love you too."
