"Hey Dani, holy shit what happened?" Steve said approaching me happily at first.
I nonchalantly gave him an explanation. "Hey you should see the doorknob." I joked and playfully nudged him.
He smiled then returned to his worried expression.
"Steve don't worry, I'm super clumsy." I said trying to ease his suspicion. He smiled.
"Well I hope your not always this clumsy, especially not while dancing." He said rubbing his neck. He slightly blushed as I raised an eyebrow and smirked at him.
"You know for any one who ever has to dance with you. Not that dancing with you would be something bad or a chore. In fact I'm sure your amazing to dance with, I mean it's probably a privilege." He stuttered embarrassingly.
I laughed. "Well I don't know Stevie I've never danced with anyone." I said as we continued to strut down the hallway. I earned a double take a few times as people took notice to my giant shiner. I mostly winked at them when they starred. We walked into chemistry and took our designated seats.

"Dani are you sure your okay?" Nancy whispered to me in English.
I nodded and gave her a thumbs up. To be honest I wasn't. I was afraid to go home. I was wishing that this day didn't end, but our last period came all too quickly. Just as the bell rang and I was ready to bolt from the classroom Murphy called me to the front again.
"Berkly. Hargrove." He beckoned us.
I slowly but surely made my way to his desk. I blew a bubble with my gum. Billy made his way to the desk too sporting a white T-shirt and jeans that hugged him just right.
"As it seems Ms Berkly has failed to inform you about her tutoring you I'm making it an assignment for you two to meet over the weekend and write a 4 page essay about each other." Murphy explained talking with his hands. His bald head gleamed under the lights in the classroom.
"So you want us to write an in-depth paper about each other?" I questioned.
Murphy nodded and waved us away.
As soon as we left the room I made my way to my locker. Nancy was leaning against it perusal.
"If you keep this whole 'extra time with Murphy' thing up I'm gonna have to assume you two are having an affair." Nancy joked pushing herself off of the cold metal.
I just chuckled as I was about to explain what happened I was interrupted.
"Hey Juliet, can I talk to you?" Billy's voice called.
"I'll see you later okay Nanc" I said. She nodded and walked off.
"What's up?" I said turning to Billy. Damn was he cute. I didn't let it show that he had me in a trance as he started talking.
"So Murphy wants us to meet to do this paper th-" I cut him off now.
"We can meet at 12 tomorrow at Georgie's Diner." I said closing my locker. I didn't wait for an answer. "Great I'll see you then." I said as I sashayed away.
Billy bit his lip and jogged to catch up.
"Your the type of girl who knows what she wants, it's hot." He said.
"Mmm and I suppose you're used to bimbos who just know that they want you. Well sorry to break it to you but I'm not just somebody's Saturday night, I don't do that." I said not looking to him.
"Well maybe you could be my Saturday night Sunday morning." He said, damn was he smooth.
"Ha your funny but I wouldn't want whatever disease you got from the rest of the girls in Hawkins." I chuckled rolling my eyes. He laughed.
We made our way to the parking lot of the school. I got to my car and through my bag on the passenger seat.
"Juliet, I meant to ask you- wow what the hell happen to your eye." He said finally notice it. I guess he hadn't seen that side of my face.
"Oh it's nothing I just ran into the door." I said brushing it off.
"Well I'll meet you at Georgie's at 12 then, okay?" He said smirking. I nodded and got into my car. Just as I was about to drive off he yelled through his open window.
"Oh wait! Juliet you cut me off earlier, are you going to Kevin's party tonight?" He yelled.
"Yeah I think so why?" I yelled back over over combined radios.
"I'll be looking for you okay." He smiled and winked then drove off.
Billy's going to be looking for me? Oh my god!! I sped out of the parking lot and made my way home in a daze.
