I sat in the police station until Billy came storming in. As soon as I saw him I jumped up and ran to hug him. He engulfed me into his arms. I took a shaky breath as I felt safe in his embrace. He stroked my hair as we hugged.
"Oh god what am I gonna do?" I whispered.
"Your going to live your life." Billy said quietly. He squeezed me tighter.
He put me down and took my hand. We walked out of the station and got into his car. We sat in silence for a while.
"I'm sorry." Billy finally said.
"It wasn't your fault." I spoke.
"No not that. The whole thing at the party. I shouldn't have been such a prick. Like I said you deserve better. I just get so jealous. Your so amazing and I know that you can do better and have a guy that treats you better. I just don't know why you stay with me." Billy said shaking his head. I looked down at my hands.
"What'd you do during 7 minutes in heaven?" I asked quietly.
"The girl pasted out as soon as we got in there. So I left her laying there." He said.
"If she hadn't pasted out would you have.." I trailed off.
"I wouldn't have done anything." He said.
"Or you wouldn't have told me about it." I implied.
"No I would maybe have kissed her but I would feel too guilty to do it more than once. It'd be hard for me to see you hurt again." He said taking my hand.

I walked into the auditorium and went back stage. I went into the dressing rooms and was greeted by a hung over Hannah Gregory.
"Ugh Dani, I've a splitting headache." She said rubbing her forehead. I rolled my eyes and walked past her. I sat in hair and makeup and they gave me a braided crown and my long dress. I got up and walked to a seat on the side of the stage. I sat and read over my lines. I looked up saw James standing with a group of people. He looked my way and quickly looked away. I rolled my eyes and stood up. I walked over to him and his group.
"Hey excuse me, we need to run lines." I said coldly. He nodded and came with me to the side of the stage.
I said a few lines and James started to stutter with his lines. I sighed.
"James we've had two months to rehearse. The shows in an hour." I said angrily.
"Dani can we talk?" He asked.
"We'd be talking if you could remember your fucking lines." I rolled my eyes.
"Dani about last night-" James said.
"JAMES! I don't want to fucking talks about that I want to get this shit done with and never fucking talk to you again." I said storming off.
I walked through the mess of kids. I walked past a bunch of people and went to a window in an empty back corner. I opened it and started smoking a cigarette. I bounced my leg up and down. I felt a hand on my shoulder and was greeted by Billy in his usual clothes.
"Love your costume." I smiled and said sarcastically. He chuckled.
"Mm yours is nice too. But it's hard to imagine that your 13 though. I mean," he looked me up and down and bit his lip, " very hard."
"That's gross. What are you supposed to be." I asked.
"I'm a stage hand." He said wiggling his fingers. I nodded. His name was called.
"I've got to go break a leg, huh." Billy said and kissed my cheek.
He walked off and I sat alone. I looked off out the window. I looked back in and saw Cole. I called his name and he came over. We talked for a while and he made me laugh and helped me run lines.
"So do you have a girlfriend?" I asked innocently.
"Ha uh no." He said.
"Have any crushes?" I asked. He laughed.
"Uh yeah I have one or two." He said looking around.
"Who?" I asked I was excited.
"Well there's this one kid." He said rubbing his neck. I smiled and leaned closer and motioned for him to continue.
