I did my scene with Nancy and we both did quite well. I had done my scene wedding with James and of course he didn't know his lines. I was pretty much done with him by now. I finished my scenes with Nancy again and now it was time for the scene with James and I in our underwear. The curtains were down and James and I were getting in place. He laid on the bed and I laid on top of him. I looked to the side of the stage and saw Billy with his arms crossed. I looked to him and winked. Then the curtains went up. The sound of a bird was played.
"Wilt thou be gone?..." I recited my lines. James's face went blank.
"Uh.. oh... um yeah I've got to go." He said. My jaw dropped. He had to know that that was way off from his lines. I was done with him.
"Well fuck Romeo, we get married ,you kill my cousin and then we have sex and you leave right away?" I said. James seemed shocked.
"Well I'm banished I have to leave." James said.
"Is there another? Perhaps a red haired Roslyn you run off to?" I said sarcastically.
"Oh god Juliet, I'm sorry. I loved you but I made a mistake. If you'd listen to me you'd know that." James said rolling his eyes.
"Listen to your lame ass excuse about why you had Roslyn's lipstick all over your face while you were mine? I don't want your damn excuses!" I yelled.
"Well you and ...Sir. William didn't waste any time! You ran right to him after you saw me and Roslyn!" James yelled back.
"Oh I'm sorry your right I should've just stayed around and let you wipe her lipstick off! Do you hear yourself Romeo? You wanted me to just wait for your fucking excuse? I didn't even run to William! I went outside and was jumped and you were no fucking where to be seen so I literally ran into him! I didn't see you running after me!" I yelled standing up.
"Wait who jumped you?" James said softly.
"Get the fuck out of here. Or I'll call the guards and be sure you are put to death." I said pointing towards the stage window.
"Juliet.." James said.
"Out!" I yelled again. He got up and put his costume on and left. Nancy entered the scene as the nurse.
"Uh.. Juliet? Your mothers coming." Nancy said slowly. I nodded and put my costume on.
The girl who played lady capulet came in and slowly recited her lines. Everyone was a bit unsure of what had just happened. I recited my lines until it was time to do my suicide and I said,
"For that dick head Romeo I guess I'm gonna kill myself now." And took a swing of the little bottle of water. I then laid in my bed let out a heavy sigh and closed my eyes. Everyone applauded.

Soon enough the play was over. We did our final bows and in rehearsals James and I were told to kiss when the curtain fell. James went in to kiss me and I ducked out of it bowing again. Once the curtain was down I turned to James.
"What the hell Dani?" He said.
"Oh shut the fuck up James. You ruined the play. Fuck off." I said shoulder checking him as I walked past.
I left the main stage and went into the hallway. I heard the door open behind me and saw Nancy come out. She was giggling.
"What's so funny?" I asked. She walked over and stood next to me.
"I loved your guys's rendition of the time after Romeo and Juliet spend the night together." She laughed. I rolled my eyes and smiled lightly shoving her. Then the door opened again and Jonathan came out.
"Dani that was the best version of Romeo and Juliet I've ever seen." He laughed I stuck my tongue out. He wrapped his arm around Nancy.
"Dani do you need and ride home?" Jonathan asked. I shook my head no.
"I'm okay have fun okay guys." I said as they walked away.
The door the to auditorium opened and people came pouring out. Among the people was Nancy's family. Mr and Mrs Wheeler were talking and Mike held a small bouquet of flowers. He looked around until his eyes met mine. I smiled and waved to him. He slowly walked over to me.
"Hey Dani, you were great." He said his cheeks getting red.
"Thanks Mike." I smiled and rubbed his hair.
"Oh these are uh for you." He stuttered handing me the small bouquet. I smiled.
"Aw thank you Mike they're beautiful." I said. He smiled and blushed. I bent down and kissed his cheek. His eyes grew wide and so did his smile.
"Ha.. ha well I Uh I Ha I better go catch up to my family." He said pointing over his shoulder. I nodded and said goodbye. I watched him walk to his family and do a celebratory fist pump. I giggled softly and turned back to the stage door.
