   James drove us to the baseball field that his game was at. I smiled at him while he drove. Inside I was having a storm of emotions. I was happy that James and I were getting on so well. I was angry that Billy admitted to using me. And I was also very hurt that he called me a whore. I guess that was because somewhere deep down I wanted all of this to be a big prank and for Billy to tell me he loved me....
                      ..... like I loved him.

"Ready?" James turned to me after we parked. I smiled and nodded at him. He got out of the car and walked around to my side to open my door. He opened the door and helped me out. We made our way to the bleachers and he held my waist. We were greeted by other guys in baseball pants. James greeted them and introduced me.
"Hey guys this is Dani." He said. I smiled.
James and the boys walked over into the field. They decided who was playing the field and who was batting. James was in the field first and he went to play as the pitcher. I sat on the bleachers and watched. As I watched one of the waiting batters started talking to me.
"Hey, So are you a James like together?" He asked.
"Uh.." I said. I thought for a second. What were we? I don't even know what I wanted us to be. "Yeah." I said quickly. I had decided on the spot. The waiting batter nodded and spit out a sunflower seed.

After about an hour and a half the game was over. The score was 12-9. James's team had won. He jogged over to me and I smiled at him. He had a wide proud grin. He leaned towards me. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He placed his hands on my hips.
"You did really good." I said. He smiled.
"I'm glad you had fun." He said.
"Drew told me that I did good. He said you told him we were together." James said lifting his head and looking down at me. I smirked and shrugged. James chuckled.
"How am I the last to find out?" James laughed I chuckled too. He smiled and gently kissed me.

James drove me home and I couldn't stop smiling. Too soon we were in front of my house. I sighed and looked from my house to James. He smiled down at his hands.
"So your my girlfriend now." He said smiling. I nodded.
"I can't believe it." He took my hand in his. He brings my hand to his lips and kisses my knuckle. I moved to kiss him on the cheek.
"Goodnight." I said opening the door.
"Night." He replied.
I got out of the car and walked to my front door. I opened it and turned to wave at James who was still waiting in his car to make sure I got inside alright. I closed the door behind me and heard my dad in the kitchen. I made my way to the kitchen.
"Hey honey. How was your day?" My dad said cutting up vegetables.
"Fine." I smiled. "How was your day?"
"Oh well the police chief called and said he was still investigated your car." He said not looking up from the veggies.
"Oh well I guess that's good." I said. I then turned and went into my room.
I was happy about James. He made me have butterflies and he was so sweet and such a gentleman. I smiled to myself as I thought about his perfect face. I snapped out of my daze and remembered to take my medicine for my foot. I took the two pills and felt drowsy. I decided to take a nap.

"Dani!"
I heard the voice call to me. I sat up in the field of red flowers. I stood to my feet.
"Dani..."
I heard it again. I walked towards the voice.
"Dani...."
I started to run as the voice faded. I tripped and rolled down a hill of flowers until I bumped into someone. I felt their presence and felt safe. I cuddled up to him. James's slightly curled hair tickled my face. I reached and looked up to his face smiling. When I touched his face my eyes followed not long after. As my eyes meant his face I was shocked. It was Billy. I was shocked by not disappointed. I sat up and so did he. He cupped my cheek and leaned in closer and closer and-

I woke up in a jolt.
