Chanyeol and his students, along with other second year students, are going on a 3 day 2 night trip on a secluded town by the beach before them. Ever since that day, when Sooyoung told him he truth, Sungjae has been unknowingly looking out for her more than he already is. As soon as her friends sees her, Sooyoung is wrapped in tight hugs.
"Sooyoung-ah! You're finally back!" Irene slams into her first.
Yeri hugs her from the back. "You've been gone for so long you got us so worried."
"Aigoo, I'm okay." Sooyoungie comforts her friends. "I just got sick. But I'm fine now.""You're sitting next to me and I won't take no for an answer." Seulgi pulls the girl by her arm. "Wait, where's your bag?"
Sungjae suddenly approaches them. "Here..." he hands the girl her bag. "Did you manage to bring everything?"
"Yes boss." Sooyoung rolls her eyes. "Seriously, you're like a mother hen. I told you I can carry my bag."
Sungjae suddenly pinches the girl's cheeks. "Would a mother hen do this?"
"Hajima!" Sooyoung frees her face and slaps the boy's arm.
"Wait, did Sungjae just bring you your bag?" Irene finally asks, eyes still wide.
Sooyoung looks at them innocently. "Yeah, why?"
"This is so delicious, I can taste it." Ilhoon grins with a teasing smile.
Sungjae shrugs. "I don't really see anything wrong with this?"
"Oh there's nothing wrong all right." Hyunsik teases. "It's so right my toes are curling up."
Peniel takes out his phone and starts to type something. "I better tell this to the hyungs."
It's been like this for almost two weeks now. Sungjae would always spend his afternoons at Sooyoung's house giving her lectures and homework so she wouldn't get left behind. He would always make sure that she drinks her medicine on time and checks her mental and emotional state 24/7.
"Sooyoung-ah, you're blushing." Seulgi whispers as soon as they take their sits on the bus.
Sooyoung cups her face. "Is it that obvious? Oh god..."
"Don't tell me..." Seulgi's face turn to shock. "...you like Sungjae?"
Sooyoung blushes more, she covers her face with her hands. "Can you blame me?" she asks in a muffled voice. "He's changed so much since I first met him. He takes care of me well and he listens to my problems. He saved me more than he knows."
"But... Sooyoung..." Seulgi looks troubled, struggling if she should tell her friend the truth or not.
Sungjae suddenly walks to them. "Sooyoung-ah, eat this." He gives her, her packed lunch.
"Thanks." Sooyoung blushes. "Oh, do you have my..."
"Park-seonsaengnim still has it. " Sungjae answers. "I'll ask for it later."
The boy walks away and Seulgi looks curiously at her friend. "Your what?"
"My medicine..." Sooyoung shrugs. "Chanyeol-oppa signed him to make sure I ear and take my medicines on time."
"Sounds like he's been given boyfriend's duty to do those things and not a friend's." Seulgi squints her eyes.
Sooyoung shivers. "Don't give any meaning to it. I's not a big deal. I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment."
The bus halts to a stop to give everyone a chance to have a break from sitting too much. Sungjae finds Sooyoung as soon as they got out of the bus.
