Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon; along with Irene, Seulgi and Yeri stares at Sungjae and Sooyoung. It's like watching a drama where the main characters are fighting their feelings for each other. And it pissed the hell out of Sungjae's friends while Sooyoung's friend are uncomfortable for a different reason.
"Your friend better be not using Sooyoung as a replacement." Irene reminds the boys.
Ilhoon shakes his head. "He's not. Sungjae's not that kind of person."
"But he's treating her like the way he used to treat Sorim." Seulgi raises her eyebrow.
"Maybe..." Hyunsik shrugs. "But then again, Sooyoung is different from Sorim. She's treating him in a different way. Sungjae's been adjusting himself and it matches perfectly with your friend."
Yeri protests. "You might just be saying that because he's your friend.""Of course, but because we are his friends, we know him well." Peniel agrees. "We've never seen him like this. He's happier. We know that Sooyoung is a good part of his life despite the remembrance of his past."
It's the last day of the trip and before leaving they ate their lunch at the venue. As usual, Sungjae and Sooyoung's group of friends sit on one table.
"Do you like iced tea?" Sungjae asks as they put their plates down filled with food. The girl nods. "Stay here. I'll go get some."
When the boy returned, Sooyoung is busy picking something off from his plate. "I've already taken away the foods you don't eat. You can eat with one hand, right?""Yeah, thanks." Sungjae answers as they all begin eating. "Have you packed all your things?"
Sooyoung nods. "I'm just about finished."
"I'll put my bags first at the bus then I'll come pick you up after." Sungjae tells her.
"But your hands..." Sooyoung looks worried and guilty.
Sungjae shakes his head. "They're not that heavy."
Sungjae and Sooyoung looks out for each other in equal measure. When the boy does something or her, the girl would help him with something else. Finally, a give and take kind of thing.
"Hey Seulgi, can I sit next to Sooyoung?" Sungjae asks the girl.
Seulgi takes a look at Hyunsik, who nods at her. "Sure. I'll sit next to Hyunsik."
"Thanks." Sungjae practically sprints towards the girl. "I'm sitting next to you."
Sooyoung blushes. "You sure like sticking to me."
"That's because you're so cute." Sungjae pinches the girl's cheek. "Aigoo..."
Sooyoung hits the boy on his chest. "I told you to stop doing that!" she pouts causing him to laugh.
Feeling tired, Sooyoung falls asleep on Sungjae's shoulder. Ignoring the way his heart beat so fast it feels like it's gonna jump out of his chest, he brushes the loose hair that covers her face. Without him realizing, Sungjae falls asleep too leaning on her head.
"Sooyoung-ah..." Sungjae wakes up first. "Wake up. We're nearly back at school."
Sooyoung groans cutely. "Woah... I slept really well."
"You have me as your pillow." Sungjae winks at her. "Of course, you'd sleep comfortably."
Sooyoung teases the boy. "Or it's just another way for me to tell you, you're fat."
Sungjae's friends agree to meet up at Changsub and Sungjae's house after the trip. Sungjae is the last one to arrive since he sent Sooyoung home first.
