Sooyoung returns to the orphanage alone and is surprised to see that there are only two of her friends present in the establishment.

"Oh... Sooyoung-ah..." Minhyuk waves to the girl. "Annyeong!"

Sooyoung bows politely. "Annyeong Minhyuk-oppa, Changsub-oppa, where is everybody?"

"Getting ready for a wedding." Changsub answers. "Didn't Sungjae tell you?"

Sooyoung shakes her head. "Who's getting married?"

Minhyuk puts his arm around the younger one. "Our Changsub here is getting married next Sunday."

"Jinjja?" Sooyoung's face lights up. "Chukhahae Changsub-oppa!"

"Gomawo." Changsub blushes. "Anyways, you're officially invited. You haven't seen my brother yet right?" the girl nods. "That explains it. I'll see you next week then."

Sooyoung agrees with excitement. "I'll be there oppa. Thank you for inviting me."

That night, Sooyoung is busy reading in her room when she hears pebbles being thrown at her window. She looks to see who is the culprit, a wide smile flashes on her face when she sees who it is. The girl runs to their door and greets their visitor.

"Sungjae! What brings you here in the middle of the night?" Sooyoung opens the door and lets him inside.

Sungjae catches his breathe. "I brought you your attire for the wedding." He raises the big covered dress he was carrying.

"Attire? Why would I need an attire? I'm not in the ceremony." Sooyoung goes confused.

Before the boy could answer, sooyoung's brother and his wife goes downstairs as well. "Oh Sungjae, you're here." Chanyeol smiles.

"Annyeonghaseyo Chanyeol-hyung, Wendy-noona. I'm sorry for intruding this late." Sungjae bows politely.

"Oh, gwaenchanha." Wendy laughs. "Why don't we go to the kitchen to have some hot chocolate?"

Sooyoung nods, smiling. "Sounds good to me." She pulls the boy and makes him sit next to her big brother.

"So... what brings you here?" Chanyeol asks.

Sungjae clears his throat. "My hyung is getting married next week and the maid of honor backed out today."

"Jinjjaro? Waeyo?" Sooyoung exclaims.

The boy shrugs. "Noona said that their flight to seoul has been cancelled and nothing's available for other flights. Since I'm the best man, hyung asked me to ask you to be the proxy." Sungjae looks at her nervous.

"What?" Sooyoung goes surprised. "But what about the bride? Is she okay with it?"

Sungjae nods. "With the wedding just a few days away, she doesn't really have much choice. Do you want to do it?"

"Errr... but I don't know the bride. How can I be the maid of honor if I don't know her?" Sooyoung looks uncertain.

"You don't have to worry about that. You just have to be ready by 1 pm and I'll come pick you up, arasseo?"

Sooyoung nods, timidly. "Arasseo..."

The day of the wedding comes, Sooyoung is just about to finish fixing her hair when she hears their doorbell ring.

"Sooyoung-ah, Sungjae's here!" Wendy shouts from the living room.

Sooyoung puts the flower that came with the gown on her hair. "I'll be right down!"
