13- ENTRY 12

Two Years After Graduation

I’m in cloud9 todaaaaay!!!

But before that…

I went back to my alma matter para mag-request ng transcript of grades.

I was asked to wait until 3 pm.

Three.  In. The. Freaking. Afternoon. And that time, it was just about 9:30 in the morning! Oh, well… Kailangang kailangan ko kasi for may application so I have to wait.

Nag-decide ako na tumambay sa isang coffee shop sa labas lang ng school namin.

Grabeee! ‘Di kinaya ng powers ng wifi ang boredom ko! Naka dalawang baso na ako ng kape at isang frappé pero pagtingin ko sa relo ko, 11:49 pa lang!

Jusko! Daig ko pa ang nakikinig sa boring na prof sa bagal ng takbo ng oras!

Mahilig nga pala ako sa coffee… Hindi yata mahilig ang tawag doon, addict.

So ayun, dahil nga nakarami na ako ng kape at diuretic siya, ‘di na kinaya ng bladder ko. I have to pee. So I went to the rest room and do my thing.

Peste, sira pa iyong flush ng napasukan kong cubicle so I don’t have a choice kung hindi mag-mano-manong kuha ng tubig sa sink…

Woooh! Kamalasan is really pouring on me today. I’ll wait for the last one. Sabi kasi nila kapag minalas ka, tatlo iyan sunod-sunod.

After that, I went back to my table. In my surprise, napatayo ako. Craaap!  Nagkamali pa yata ako ng inupuan. Pero when I looked around, I am pretty sure that, that was my seat.

Pero bakit may ibang drink? May nag-occupy na bang iba?

So I asked the girl in the counter and she said…

“No ma’am. It is for you.” – Teller
She told me while smiling.

“I-I did not ordered another coffee, you must be mistaken.” – Me

I told her with confusion on my face.

“No, ma’am. I’m pretty sure that’s for you… That man by the window ordered that for you.” – Teller

Wow, I was shocked kasi I don’t think may nakakakilala pa sa akin dito.

So, curiousity struck me. Pinuntahan ko si kuyang nagbigay ng drink sa akin.

He was wearing a cap. That’s why at first I did not saw his face.

“I believe it’ll be rude if I don’t say thank you. But, hindi ako iyong tipo ng babae na nagpapabili ng drink sa iba. I can buy my own.” – Me

Ang taray ko pa!

He removed his cap and looked at me.
