Westpoint 2: The Saga Continues

CHAPTER 27: MONDAY MONDAY

(THAT MONDAY AT SCHOOL)

(JASON) I was at my locker getting my Social Science book when Sasha popped up out of nowhere.

"Whatcha doing baby daddy?"

"Not that it's any of your concern, but I'm getting ready for last period. Is there something I can help you with?"

"I just came to give you this."

She gave me a sonogram.

"I went  to the hospital as you suggested. Me and the baby are fine. I have an appointment next week to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. You wanna come?"

"No, not really."

I slammed my locker

"Just let me know if it's a boy or a girl. I have to go."

"One day you're going to hate that you're weren't involved."

"I'm fine."

I couldn't stay there any longer. Being around her was making my skin crawl.

(AT TARREN'S APARTMENT)

(TARREN) I didn't go to school today because me, Rick, Josh, and Stefan went to a bar last night. I drunk too much tequila and now I'm paying for it.

Carly didn't wanna stay home and babysit me today. She took the baby to my Mom's while I recover. I can always get the notes from today's class from one of my classmates. I almost forgot...I have a report due Wednesday. I gotta bounce back quick.

I picked my phone up off the dresser. I got 6 missed calls. 2 were from Carly, 1 from Mom, 1 from Dad, 1 from Josh, and 1 from Tarren. Can a brother get some rest? I'll just call them back later. This hangover is no joke.

(AT THE LAWYER'S OFFICE)

(JEFF) Lisa and I just left the lawyer's office. I  can't say what we were discussing with our lawyer, but let's just say Sasha is going to feel every bit of what she's been giving my family. Everything in due time though. We gotta play it smart.

This Friday is the reopening of Belinda's Cafe ( They keep changing the dates). I pray and hope nothing crazy happens. With this family anything is possible.

When I got to work my secretary told me Brian was in my office waiting for me. I got in my office and Brian was sitting in my lounger with his feet up and he was sleep."

"Brian wake up."

"I'm up. I'm up."

"What brings you by?"

"I  wanted to lay down the plans for Mom and Dad's anniversary party to you."

"Damn I forgot about that. When is it again?"

" Their anniversary is next Saturday. I wanted to throw them a big party."

"Well I'm all in. Whatever you need let me know. Where do you plan on having it at?"

"At the Shondell's Ball Room downtown."

"OK...what about the food? The drinks? The invitations?"

"I'm gonna have Betty's catering service to do the food. I'm going to get the alcohol from the liquor store of course and I was wondering if Lisa could do the invitations."

"I'm sure she won't mind. How many people you plan on inviting?"

"I don't know...Say....100 people."

"That should be fine. Mom and Dad know a lot of people."

"Now what I need from you is help on paying for the building, the catering, and the present I want to give them."
