Dragon Girl *Hiccup X Reader*

Deja Vu?

I had just fallen asleep at sunrise only to be woken with a start when the twins decided to do morning announcements. I was not at all pleased with being woken up by these two nut for brains. As Ruff read their letter out loud she didn't seem all that exited about their cousin, what ever that was, coming over for a visit. Tuff on the other hand set about cleaning the place up. "Gruffnut's gonna be here any second. The place needs to look nice."

I could hear Tuff as I lay on Snows back trying to go back to sleep, having been up late last night on patrol for any dragon hunters. "Okay. I'm new here. Who is Gruffnut?" Heather asked as I groaned and sat up, maybe I would just go back to bed later.

Snotlout was leaning on a spear as Tuff continued to sweep dirt  from the floorboards. "He's their cousin. We've never met him but Tuffnut worships the guy." Needless to say he didn't seem all that enthusiastic either.

"(Scoffs) No, I don't. Even if he is a totally awesome world traveler and a fearless adventurer." I raised a brow, was Tuff talking about himself or Ruff maybe. I know that's more than likely how they would describe themselves, though they might not admit it. 

Ruff was scowling and scoffed at what her brother had to say. "Yeah, you say traveler, I say drifter who just wanders into our lives every few years." I couldn't help but yawn as the whole situation started to bore me, when I smelled someone who wasn't part of my pack. 

The next thing I heard were footsteps on the wooden boards. "Did this island just get a hundred percent more amazing, or is it just me?" I groaned looking over only to stop on the figure that Tuff walked up next to. He looked almost like an exact copy of Tuff, the main difference being the smell. I couldn't help but gape at the similarity between them.

I blinked and rubbed my eyes trying to see if I was just seeing double but Hiccup saw it as well. I stood up and walked to stand next to Hiccup unsure about how to process what I was seeing. I just watched them all talk, what was I even supposed to say? Was I supposed to say anything at all, or just remain silent? Once Tuff left I looked to Hiccup.

"Was I supposed to do anything or can I leave now, that guy creeps me out. Looking like the male twin but he smells different." Hiccup just sighed motioning for me to follow him, and so I did. I wasn't going to contest that point. I watched as Tuff broke some machines that Hiccup made to help train the dragons, some of which I used on an occasion. 

Later while they were having an emotional moment I couldn't help but just feel almost sorry for Tuff, this guy was just crazy.. wait a second? After that was said and done I watched from the perch on my house as they flew on Barf and Belch, I could only shake my head. Maybe it was time I finished that design for a new saddle that hung upside down so Snow didn't have to hold me in her claws.

Hiccup was with me when Ruff started telling him about what se saw Gruff doing. "Hiccup, (Y/n), I'm telling you. I saw him go in there, alone. You know? By himself." She pulled the chain and where Snow and Toothless were taking a nap was Gruff. I blinked and tilted my head a little.

"Why is he walking like that?" I asked only to receive a shrug from Hiccup who walked forward to confront the intruder.

"Excuse me?" He froze seeing Toothless wake up and move his wing over Snow who was still sound asleep. He growled a warning for him to back away which he wisely did chuckling nervously. This woke Snow who spun her head growling in return. They both backed Gruff into a pole while Snow stood on her hind legs making herself appear bigger. She did not like being handled by anyone but me. "Toothless. Easy, bud. You just woke Snow from her nap, you know how she gets."

We walked up the stairs, snow turning and bounding to me nuzzling my face to hers. "(Y/n) what is this Viking doing close to me and my mate?" Snow asked looking and growling to Gruff.
