It was a mission like any other, Astrid blocked a dragon root arrow with her leg and I almost got hit falling off Snow. Lucky for me Snow caught me, this happened as we were trying to rescue Fishlegs from the dragon hunters. Once finally making it back in one piece I set about giving Snow a rub down making sure she hadn't been injured during this expedition.

Hiccup was just now figuring out that people had been hurt during these little outings. What we weren't expecting was a terror mail from Vigo asking for myself and Hiccup to meet him on an island. We went to the rock face with Heather and Astrid, as they hung back Hiccup and I landed back away from the blue oleander. "I think you're missing a piece."

Hiccup set down the piece as I circled around watching Vigo smile. I couldn't help but growl low at him. "You came. I'm surprised. You even brought your little friend here. Nice to see you again my dear."

"No your not. Otherwise, you wouldn't be sitting in a field of flowers that are poisonous to dragons." Hiccup circled back around as well so that we were both now standing side by side facing Viggo.

He shrugged before answering. "A man has to take precautions. I noticed you arrived with friends."

"Like you said, precautions. Look, what do you want, Viggo? Why did you want(Y/n) to come with me?" Hiccup question as I glared at this Viking game. What even was this?

"To compliment you, Hiccup. Your little group has had some impressive victories recently. Put quite the dent in my bottom line." Viggo explained.

"Glad to hear it." Hiccup didn't really sound glad about it, but maybe that was because he was on edge.

"You are both worthy opponents. And as such, this battle between us could continue for years to come. Or..." I narrowed my eyes, what did he want?

I tightened my hand into a fist, I could see Hiccup doing the same. "Or what, Viggo? What is this new plan you have carefully laid?" I asked keeping my eyes on him, he wanted something I just didn't know what.

"Or it could end today." I raised a confused brow, that had not been what I had come to expect.

"I accept your surrender." Hiccup smiled, I didn't think that's what Viggo had in mind but I nodded.

Viggo started laughing, it honestly freaked me out. "Oh, it's good to see your sense of humor is still intact. You on the other hand take things much to seriously. In any case, I am offering a truce. With very generous terms." I watched as he slammed a map down with a red line across it. Scanning over it there was one island that caught my eye, Snow and I had been there before. "You stay south of this line, and my men and I will stay above it." Sure there were a lot of islands on our side but that one... what was he planning? "We never have to fight again. Hiccup, (Y/n), I'm not unreasonable. I have no desire to rule the world like.. some people. I'm a business man, and fighting is bad for business."

"What about the dragon eye?" Hiccup was being assertive, I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking.

"I'm afraid that's not part of the deal. I'm offering you the chance to save the life of every dragon below this line, not to mention those of your fellow riders. I am willing to memorialize this deal now and end the bloodshed." Vigo wrote in a red caracole, but I didn't like it. "Are you?"

I growled as he held his hand out with the writing instrument. Something about this whole thing was wrong, and smelled of treachery.

"I'll need to think about it." Hiccup said in a straight face rolling the map up. Viggo tried to look innocent as a baby Gronkle but I still wasn't buying whatever it was. I needed to go and warn Mala of the possible danger. So after we started leaving the island I told Hiccup I would meet him back on the edge later. He didn't want me going alone but I saw it as the only way and wouldn't allow him to come with me.
