After some terrible directions on my part Hiccup finally made the paste for me and Heather much to my protesting was the one who rubbed it onto my back and head. "There you go, now listen (Y/n) the guys and I are going on a mission and will be gone for a few days. You're sick right now so just stay here and get better alright." I sighed and gave a small nod. "Oh and eat something, you haven't eaten since.. well you know. I just want you to take care of yourself."

"I got it Hiccup. You guys go, there are dragons that need your help more than I do." I replied from my bed. He nodded and left with Toothless, leaving myself and Snow.

"Shall I go catch some fish for dinner sister?" I looked over to Snow and yawned turning onto my side.

"Sure, I suppose so, just.. be careful and watch for any hunters. You never know when they will show up." I replied listening to her hum and felt her head rub against mine before flying to the lake for fish. I fell asleep not long after she left. When I woke up Snow was nudging me with her wing and looking at a fish she had cooked up for me. Giving a small sigh I got up and took the fish from her. "You ate already right?" I asked to which Snow just huffed and looked back at the full basket.

I nodded and ate mine as Snow walked over to hers. After eating about half of the fish I put it on the bed side table and went back to sleep. When I woke up in the morning I was feeling much better and got up to stretch. "Sister, do you want to go for a flight this morning?" I looked over to Snow who was eating some fish while I took a fruit from my counters.

"Sure, I think that sounds nice." I said before getting on her back and she flew out the door. I'm going to need to fix that later. Taking in a deep breath I leaned back enjoying the scenery. "I missed flying with you Snow."

"I missed this as well Sister, it is nice to see you out of the house." I nodded closing my eyes for a moment. I will admit that I missed the wind and sunshine but not out loud. It was quiet with everyone gone and I didn't know what to do with myself.

"Shall we go out on patrol for a little bit?" I asked, Snow hummed an affirmative and we circled the route Astrid usually covered. Seeing no signs of any hunters we returned home. It was only noon and I was starting to feel something.. almost empty. I mean sure this sure this was like how it used to be but, I guess we had spent so much time with the other riders that I was starting to miss them.

"Sister, are you feeling alright? You seem down." I nodded shifting from my table to look at the notebooks on my desk. I opened one up to start reading again.

"Yeah, just feeling a little lonely. I think... I think I miss the guys." I replied putting down the notebook with a sigh. "I'm going to bed." I stood up from my chair and walked up to my bed. With that I went to sleep and didn't leave for the remainder of the day. About half way through the day I heard some screeches from the dragons. Opening my eyes I looked out what used to be my door.

Snow landed with Toothless and Hiccup not far behind. "Hey, (Y/n) how are you feeling?" He asked coming in and pulling up a chair close to my bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"Better I guess..." I said looking down at my hands. I didn't want to tell him, because I didn't want him to worry about me.

"Snow seems worried about you and insisted I followed her as soon as she heard Toothless. What's going on?" I felt tears forming at the corners of my eyes. He put a hand on my  cheeks whipping them away. "You can tell me you know. There is nothing wrong with whatever it is you're thinking."

Choking back a sob I nodded and looked up with a small smile. "I was just feeling a little lonely yesterday. It's weird because it used to just be Snow and me... but when you guys were gone, I didn't know what to do with myself." I gave a small sarcastic chuckle.
