We were on our way back to Berk when she woke up. She looked around trying to grasp her situation and then saw me and Toothless. She smiled, actually smiled at me. I was in all honesty surprised and I think it showed on my face, she looked almost sad then turned away to face the open ocean. "It will still be a little while before we get back to Berk, why don't you get some more sleep?"

She only shook her head looking to Toothless, "I think I have slept long enough. Snow says that I was out for about fourteen moons. Besides the view is nice." She was looking at me again with the same smile she had on earlier. I smiled back to her before slowing down slightly to match Snows speed.

"Yea that's why I love flying with Toothless, the view up here is always so peaceful. Though it does get lonely up here sometimes, so I'm glad to have someone to view it with. Also I'm sorry about Astrid, she doesn't trust people easily but I think she will grow to trust you, eventually. I mean her and Heather are practically incapable now."

"Astrid is... the tuff looking blond with one braid that rides the natter? And Snotlout is the short Viking that is... overly touchy?" She sounded like she was trying to put names to faces as she was trying to piece together fragments of images she had.

"That's right, Fishlegs is the blond hefty Viking and the twins who look similar. Ruff is the girl, Tuff being the boy. Do you remember all of them?" I asked trying to help the process and encourage her. Her gaze now focused on the island ahead she nodded and I sighed in relief. Looking over at Berk, "Looks like were almost home bud, When we land I think it would be best to go straight to my place. We need to introduce you to my dad now that you can remember some stuff."

"Want to race to see who can get there first, though I am going to warn you that Snow is very fast." She had a bit of a smirk on her face as she turned to me. I smirked back and nodded in acknowledgement.

"Alright your so on, first to land in the middle of town wins. Don't think I will hold anything back though. You think your SunFury is fast well Toothless is the fastest dragon on Berk."

"Not after today in three.. two.. one.. Go!" Toothless took off at full speed as I leaned in close to him making us more streamlined. I glanced back to see her changing positions. She slipped under Snows belly who was now holding her in her claws, then suddenly Snow seemed to pick up more speed and was gaining quickly.

"Come on bud, lets show them what it means to fly." I adjusted Toothlesses tail as they passed us We were gaining ground when Snow started to laugh. Toothless looked puzzled when her tail feathers that were closest to her wings closed up. Then suddenly we couldn't see them in the clouds.

Our speed still hanging on as we raced to Berk exiting the cloud bank I caught a glimpse of Snows tail extending back up as she slowed her decent for the landing. We landed not long after they touched down. "As I said Snow is fast, I figured out a trick to pick up more speed by accident this one day. We were running away from some villagers and as they shot ballista's at Snow I slipped off by accident. After she caught me in her claws I may have closed up the back wings on her tail. We picked up so much speed allowing us to escape without more than a few bruises."

I could only stare at her Toothless looking at Snow mouth open just like mine. Snow laughed again pushed her wing against Toothless nocking him over. We both regained our composure and I cleared my thought. "Well then umm, this way my lady. My father awaits and we still need to find out what tribe you come from anyway." She nodded and extended her hand for me to lead the way.

We walked up to my house and stood outside the door. "Alright stay here and try to stay as quiet as possible. I'm going to get my dad and we will come to you, I would imagine it might be better to meet him out here where its a bit more open. He can be a little intense sometimes so try to keep calm." She nodded and I turned to open the door.

Stepping inside with Toothless at my heel I came face to face with my father who was sitting at the table looking mad, not unusual. "Hiccup where have you been. Its past noon I thought you would be back in two hours when you ran off after your little friend. Not to mention you don't even come back with her or her dragon."

"Dad, I know how this looks but I assure you that I found her, and her dragon is still here. If you could just follow me in your least terrifying posture and voice I'd be happy to introduce you to them officially."

"Terrifying! I'm not terrifying and I will have you introduce them to me." He pushed me aside walking out the door as I tried to explain better.

"Alright maybe not terrifying but just.. this situation needs to be handled delicately. She still isn't used to us as it stands, she really only trusts me and that is not by much. So maybe just lower your voice and don't yell at her would work better."

"Don't be daft Hiccup, I am speaking quietly and I can handle situations delicately. I am a chief after all." When we rounded the corner of my hut we saw (Y/n) sitting on the grass with Snow laying behind her. Her attention wasn't even on us but instead the sky. My father continued forward coming up behind them as I tried to stop him. "There you are lass, nice to finally meet you under better circumstances."

She suddenly bolt upright and backed away with Snow just behind her. She caught sight of me behind my dad and looked as f she was ready to run away. I held out my hand and stood in between them trying to keep my dad from getting any closer.

"Dad you remember how I train dragons with the extended hand, right. I want you to trust me right now and give me your hand."

"Whatever for Hiccup, Snow already knows me. I see no need for such silliness." I stood in front of him very defiant and tried to get him to understand. (Y/n) stood silently in the background watching every move carefully.

"Dad please just trust me on this, she is my acquaintance and I think I know the best way to handle this. Do you want to get to know her or not, because if you are not careful she will run away." I looked into his eyes as he stared at me, then sighed in defeat.

"Very well Hiccup, we will do this your way, you do know your friend better than I do I suppose." He gave me his hand which I took in mine. I slowly walked to (Y/n) as Snow backed away giving us space. She looked around for a place to get away if need be, but I held out my hand to her. She calmed down slightly, I put my hand back down closing the rest of the distance.

I held up dads hand with my own like I did when introducing him to Toothless before he got the Thunderdrum. She looked from me to my father then to his hand which was much larger than mine. She carefully studied dad before lifting her own hand, she slowly placed it in his hand. He looked surprised for a moment as I backed away, his hand still open he looked at me confused. I held up my hand and closed it slowly not saying a word.

He sighed and looked back to (Y/n) and her small hand in his. Slowly he closed his hand around hers and she looked up at him almost confidant for the first time and pulled her hand away dropping it to her side smiling up at my dad. I sighed in relief that this ended uneventfully. She walked up to me and nodded, I nodded back.

"Dad this is (Y/n), she was raised by the SunFurys. Snow is in a since her sister as she was in a way adopted by them... sorta. We actually wanted to speak with you about what tribe she came from."

"Sure Hiccup, I must say that I wasn't expecting that to happen but I am going to assume you had your own reasons for doing things like this. So lets go inside and have a little chat. What do you say (Y/n)." She looked at him and stood up straight, she smiled again to me before turning serious as she faced my father.

"If that is your wish chief, we may go into your hut and talk. Snow has something to show you that may help." He looked at me surprised at first but then grinned widely and waved his hand to the door.

"Of course, I am very interested in hearing your story and seeing if I can help fill in some pieces, in return you stick close to my son." She looked confused for a moment as I looked at him in shock. She nodded then followed him into the house with Snow on the tail.

"What did we get ourselves into bud?" I looked to Toothless who only shook his head and walked to the door. I followed close behind as I didn't want to leave them alone to long. Thor knows what could happen if we aren't careful. I walked into my hut and closed the door behind me as we all sat down and started talking about what had transpired over the past month. My father listening intently to every word occasionally asking a question.
