Bounty

"Come back here!" We were running through the forest with people chasing us. I had brought (Y/n) with me and was now regretting it as I held her wrist dragging her along. It would be one thing if they were just chasing me, but they were after her as well. I noticed when we ran into each other running away from our own respective chasers.

She had tried to call out to her sister a few times but had given up getting no response. "Get them!"

"Where'd they go?"

"Don't let them get away!" They started throwing and shooting at us. Axes and arrows flying past. Needless to say I stopped listening to their shouts and focused on running with her at my heels. She did have to duck as an axe almost hit her as we were turning. Now standing before a rock and a Viking at the top jumped down. I ran and slid dragging her with me. We were both sliding out of control now to an edge.

I may have started tumbling but she seemed calm enough as she held her position even. Once that stopped I grabbed her and started running again. "Toothless! Toothless!" The hunters were on our heels now, she turned to look back before I decided to slide again. Her hand slipped from mine as she tripped falling face first into the dirt. Snow was over her in a moments notice as Toothless and Astrid came running up.

I stopped when he jumped before me and shot a plasma blast at them. Astrid shooting spines making them run the other way. I groaned as I got up and looked back, (Y/n) still face first in the dirt. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I think so. How about you (Y/n)?" I asked out of breath. She groaned and lifted a hand giving me a thumbs up. Toothless liked my face a moment later. "I'm alright, bud."

"Who were those guys? They didn't look like Dragon Hunters." Astrid asked after helping (Y/n) to her feet. (Y/n) was all to happy to give her a hug thanking her for the timely rescue.

"You know, I don't know. With all the flying axes and tumbling down hills, I forgot to ask." I stated sarcastically.

I'm not sure (Y/n) caught it as the next thing she said made it seem so at least. "Don't forget the arrows. There were a lot of arrows. One grazed my arm before I found you." She stated looking at a cut on her arm. Now that I looked at her she had cuts and scrapes all over her from the chase. Snow was fussing over each one.

Toothless once he noticed went over and started fussing as well. "Toothless, she's fine. We'll take care of the cuts later. I watched her eyes narrow as she went over to something. When she picked it up I noticed what it was. She was just holding it confused, I could see it written all over her face. "What you got there, (Y/n)?" I asked. She looked to me holding out the now rolled paper.

"Trouble." She stated as I opened it to see it for myself. I was shocked as I looked at the paper with (Y/n) and myself drawn on it.

"I think I know who those guys were." I nodded and we made our way back to the Edge as fast as possible showing it to the guys. 

Snotlout was the first to react to it. Huge smile on his face an all. "No way! Viggo put a price on Hiccup and (Y/n)'s head? Sorry (Y/n), but come on this is funny. Every bounty hunter from here to the archipelago is gonna be looking for you."

"Thank you, Snotlout, for your undying support." I said arms crossed, (Y/n) stood in the corner steaming. If she had been able she might have hit him. Unfortunately for her Fishlegs was taking care of the minor injuries. We weren't taking any chances not knowing how weak her immune system was. 

"No, thank you, Hiccup." Fishlegs looked up placing a finger on his chin.

"Hmm. I wonder if Viggo's paying the bounty with Berk's gold?" (Y/n) looked up as he patted her shoulder letting her know that he was done.
