A few minutes later, Hook pointed to the hiding place on the deciphered map.

"I give you the location of the dagger."

"Well done, Hook," Cora said, snatching the map up from the table. "We'll take it from here."

"No," Killian replied, angrily, holding up his hook to threaten them. "You promised me!"

Cora waved her hand and Kiliah felt an invisible blow against her which sent her and Hook across the room. As they struck their heads on the bookshelves, they were knocked unconscious.

When they woke several minutes later, the witches were nowhere to be seen.

"They can't be that far away," Kiliah said, getting to her feet. "If we can find another map we can beat them to it."

"And what happens if they use magic against us again?" Hook asked. "We're no match for their power. We don't stand a chance."

"Since when have you been a coward?" Kiliah frowned. "He who has been hunting down the Dark One for decades. Yet when we come to finding the one thing that can destroy him, you are willing to let two bitches take it from us. You want to stop me getting my vengeance on both Regina and the Crocodile?"

"No love," he sighed, looking resigned. He took a moment before continuing. "I think we ought to consider cashing in our chips."

Kiliah frowned. "How d'you mean?"

"I mean heading back to the Enchanted Forest." Kiliah went to protest, but Hook spoke before she could. "We have wasted many more years than the Queen took from us chasing revenge, and we forgot the one thing that truly matters. Us."

"You want to pretend like none of this ever happened?"

"I want a life which is not over-shadowed by hatred." He reached out and touched her face. "It's corrupted us, Kiliah. We used to be good people - people with codes and good form. There's still so many shores to see, places to visit, adventures to have. What do you say?"

Kiliah looked at him for a long moment. "How do you propose we get back?"

Killian's eyes gleamed as his daughter agreed. "We keep our heads down in Storybrooke for a few weeks while the giant sows his seeds, then once they grow we seize them and use them to get us home."

Kiliah took a moment, but eventually nodded. "I can't say I'm happy to leave behind my revenge, but I agree it would be nice for things to go back to how they used to be."

Hook grinned. "Excellent!"
