After Scott's first memory showed up, he began remembering more. They were just little memories, but Scott didn't care. He thought he would be broken forever after being with Damien. But, he's not broken. He just needed a little help is all. Mitch has been helping him more, this time being more patient.

"Alpha?" Mitch asks as he walks into Scott's room one night.

Scott looks over, blinking a few times. He still hasn't quite gotten used to Mitch calling him 'Alpha' after being used to being treated like an Omega for the past six years. But, they both agreed that Mitch would call him Alpha again so he can get used to it more. Eventually he will have to go out into the world again and he'll have to get used to people calling him Alpha too.

"Hey," Scott says as he shuts the notebook he'd been writing in.

"Can I ask you something?" Mitch asks as he shuts the door behind him.

"Sure," Scott says. "Come sit down." He pats on the bed beside him, to which Mitch obeys. "What's up?"

"Well um, I've been kind of thinking lately... and well, you are my Alpha. But, after you were taken away... my mark disappeared because we were separated for too long," Mitch tells him.

"Oh," Scott shifts uncomfortably on the bed. He knew this topic of conversation would come up eventually, but he had hopes that he would have more time to think about.

"You've been home for three months now. Connie said that I should wait to ask. And... I have been. But, I'm an Omega. And, an Omega without an Alpha isn't exactly the safest in a world like this," Mitch says, taking a deep breath before looking up at Scott. "Will you mark me again, Alpha?"

Scott frowns. "I... I don't know, Mitch," he whispers.

"What do you mean by that?" Mitch asks nervously.

"I don't know if I'm ready to mark you again so soon. I know it's been three months, but there's still a lot that I have to work on. I need to be able to take care of myself before I can take care of someone else," Scott says. "It's not that I don't care about you. Because, I do. I really do."

"Well, how much longer am I supposed to wait for you?" Mitch asks, frustrated.

"If you loved me, you would wait as long as it took for me to-"

"No, screw that!" Mitch yells, standing up from the bed. "I'm an Omega! I need an Alpha!"

"I-I'm sorry. Y-You have to understand where I'm coming from-" Scott begins to shake.

"Forget it! I've been waiting six years for you to come back. I'm not waiting any longer. I'm going to go find an Alpha that actually wants me. I'm out of here!" Mitch turns and angrily storms out of the bedroom, slamming the door shut, which causes Scott to jump.

Scott whimpers and buries his face in his hands. He thought things were getting better. Mitch had been so patient with him over the past few weeks. He just wish Mitch would understand that it's going to take more than a couple of months before things get better and normal. Six years of abuse is a lot to overcome, Scott knows that. He just didn't want to sit and dwell over the past.

Over the next few days, Scott stays in his bed.

Scott learned that Mitch left, and he's been staying at his parents. Scott's glad he didn't go and do something that would get him in a lot of trouble. Scott misses him, but as long as he's safe.

Scott doesn't eat unless his mom brings him food. She doesn't want him to starve himself after not eating when he was with Damien. He's still trying to put on some weight. It's been a long process.

"We have to bring Mitch back here," Connie says to Rick.

"We've already tried talking to him, dear. Mitch seems pretty serious about a new Alpha," Rick says.

"I understand where Mitch is coming from, I just wish Mitch would understand where Scott's coming from. It's only been three months. Scott's obviously not ready to mark him again yet," Connie sighs.

"I know, and it's good that Scott isn't rushing back into their relationship. He probably has trust issues-"

Scott frowns as he stands on the stairs, listening to his parents talk about him. He slowly walks down, slipping on his shoes, and then he walks outside. He walks over to the swing and sits down.

Scott only sits on the porch for a few moments before he hears footsteps.

"Scott?"

Scott looks up and is surprised when he sees Kirstie walking up to the porch. "Hi," he mumbles.

"I heard about Mitch..." She says as she walks over to him.

Scott instantly looks up at her. "Mitch?" He asks hopefully. "H-Have you talked?"

"Yes, actually... he's been staying with me," Kirstie says, sighing softly.

Scott frowns. "But, I-I thought that he was staying at his parents house?" He asks, confused.

"It was just a cover up. He didn't want anyone to know where he was. I told him that was stupid, but... what I told him didn't matter," she shrugs her shoulders. "What are you doing out here?"

"Needed some fresh air," Scott shrugs his shoulders. "I thought about going to see Mitch. I miss him."

"I can take you to him if you want. My house is only like five minutes away," Kirstie says.

"Really?" Scott asks, standing up. "I want to see him."

"Okay. Should you tell your parents that you're leaving?" Kirstie asks. "They'll be worried."

"They'll just think that I'm in my room. They don't even know that I'm out here," Scott says. "Let's go."

"Okay, come on..." Kirstie says. She leads the way off of the front porch. It only takes a couple minutes before they make it to Kirstie's house. Walking around the neighborhood, helps Scott with his memories. He knows he's been to Kirstie's house a billion times. "Beware. He's not... in the best moods right now. But, I think he's more upset with himself than he is with you, okay?"

"Okay," Scott slowly nods, and then he follows Kirstie into the house.

"Mitch?" Kirstie calls as she shuts the door behind her.

"In here!" Scott hears a faint voice, but he instantly knows that it's Mitch's. He takes a deep breath, and then he follows Kirstie into the living room. He sees a lump on the couch, Scott assumes it's Mitch.

"Wake up, sleepyhead. You have a visitor," Kirstie says, gently pushing Scott ahead of her.

"A visit-" Mitch looks up and his eyes widen when he sees Scott standing there.

"Hi Mitchy," Scott greets in a quiet voice, almost afraid of Mitch yelling at him again.

"Wh-What are you doing here?" Mitch asks, slowly pushing himself up. He looks over at Kirstie.

"I know you said that you didn't want to see anyone. But, I saw Scott sitting on the porch when I was out. He really wanted to see you Mitch. I couldn't say no to him," Kirstie frowns.

Mitch looks back over at Scott. "I told you I was done..."

"I-I know-" Scott takes a deep breath, before walking over and sitting on his knees in front of Mitch. "But... I-I miss you, Mitchy. I don't have anyone to talk to. You're my best friend. Please come home."

Mitch blinks a few times as he stares at Scott, the position he's in reminding him of the many times that he had to be in Omega position when he was younger. His father was very harsh on him.

"I..." Mitch doesn't know what to say. He didn't think Scott would actually find him.

"I'll do better," Scott continues, sniffing. "I-I promise. Please, Mitchy?"

Mitch shakes his head, before pulling Scott into a hug. He was such an idiot to yell at Scott. Once again, he was just being selfish. He just wants Scott to be his Alpha again so badly. He forgot all about Scott's feelings and only thought of himself. He has to be better. For Scott.
