"I told him it wasn't a good idea," Kirstie says as she sits with Scott on a random bench they found.

Scott sniffs, and looks over at Kirstie. "I didn't do anything. Why doesn't he like me?" He asks.

"Beau is..." Kirstie sighs. "Beau's an Alpha who thinks he's better than others. But, for some weird reason, Mitch finds him attractive. They've been friends for a couple of months now."

"Do you think he's attractive?" Scott asks curiously.

"I mean... he's cute. But, not my type," Kirstie shakes his head. "Plus, he's gay. So, I'm out."

"Do you have an Alpha?" Scott asks. "I've never heard you talk about one."

"I mean... no. I'm not really looking, but I'll be happy if one comes along," Kirstie smiles.

"I hope you find one. You deserve someone who'll treat you right," Scott sniffs.

"You do too," Kirstie whispers, gently grabbing Scott's hand and holding onto it. "Even if things with Mitch don't work out like how you want it to... you still deserve someone who'll love you for you."

"Are you saying I don't love Scott?"

Kirstie jumps and looks over to see Mitch, with no Beau. "Mitch! What are you... Where's...?"

"I sent him home. I didn't like the way he was treating my friends," Mitch says. "Now, what's this...?"

"Mitch, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. I hope you and Scott workout, really. I do-"

Mitch sighs. "You were right. I shouldn't have invited Beau. I just thought he would help," he says.

"I understand what you were trying to do. Scott should be around other Alphas. It might help him. But, Beau is not the right Alpha for him to be around. You heard the way he talked to Scott,"

"Like I was an Omega," Scott mumbles, before glancing at Mitch. "No offense."

"No, it's okay. Beau talks to me like that sometimes. I just try not to let it get to me," Mitch shrugs.

"That's the guy you wanted to live with?" Scott asks, frowning. "I don't think that's a good idea."

"Well, where else am I supposed to live?" Mitch asks, sighing as he throws his arms up.

"Home," Scott replies. "With me. Please? Please come home."

"I agree with Scott," Kirstie agrees with a nod. "You belong with him at his house."

"Scoot over," he gently nudges Kirstie until he's sitting in the middle of the two. "Do you really think that's a good idea, Scott? After everything that's happened?" He looks over at Scott and raises his eyebrows.

"W-We just have to work together. Please," Scott begs. "I need you just as much as you need me."

Mitch frowns, and looks up at Scott. He can never say no to those blue eyes.

The mall is mostly a bust. The three don't really feel like doing anything else after the incident with Beau. They play arcade games for awhile, and that's all they do before they get bored.

Before taking Scott back home, Kirstie takes him and Mitch back to her house so that Mitch can quickly grab his things. He doesn't have much, just as a small bag of what he packed before he left.

"Thanks for letting me stay at yours," Mitch says once they make it back home to Scott's.

"No problem. My couch is always yours if you need a place to crash," Kirstie chuckles.

Mitch smiles, and then he follows Scott out of the car. "See you later!" He waves as Kirstie pulls away. Then, he turns and looks at Scott. "Are your parents mad at me for leaving?"

"More worried than mad," Scott says. "They might be a little upset though." They walks up to the house.

"But, they'll definitely let me stay, right? I don't want to be homeless..."

"You're not going to be homeless. They might be upset but they'll never kick you out, and they especially won't let you be homeless," Scott assures him, pushing the door open. They both walk inside the house. Scott looks around and spots his mom sitting on the couch in the living room. "Mom? We're back."

Connie looks over and smiles when she sees Scott and Mitch. "Back so soon?"

"We got bored," Scott replies. "It was fine. I only had one panic attack."

Connie frowns. "What happened?" She asks worriedly.

"I saw a group of teenagers. They just scared me is all," Scott shrugs his shoulders.

"Scott got worried because they were whispering about him," Mitch adds. "We calmed him down though."

"That's good," Connie smiles. "What else did you do? Did you have any fun?"

"Not really, no. That was mostly my fault. I thought that it would be a good idea if I brought one of my Alpha friends to help Scott get used to being around other Alphas. It didn't end well," Mitch sighs.

"It wasn't Mitchy's fault. He didn't know that Alpha would be rude," Scott quickly defends.

"Well, we can always try again, can't we?" Connie assures him. "No need to rush."

"Maybe we can go somewhere less crowded next time," Mitch suggests. "Like, the park, or something?"

Scott looks over at Mitch and nods. "That might be good," he agrees. "Now, I'm tired. I wanna take a nap."

"I think I might join you on that nap idea," Mitch says, before following Scott up the stairs.

Mitch is about to head to his bedroom, when Scott quickly grabs him, surprising him.

"M-Mitchy? Will you stay with me? I-In my room...?" Scott asks nervously. "I-It's okay if you don't want to. It's just... I could really use some company. I've been lonely..."

Mitch's face instantly softens. "Of course, Scotty..." He follows Scott to his bedroom. He shuts the door, and then places his bag down by the door. "We haven't shared a bed together in awhile."

Scott blushes, and then he crawls onto the bed. "You insisted on sleeping in the guest room,"

"Yeah. More like, your mother insisted that I sleep in the guest room. Seriously Scott, you have no idea how badly I wanted to sleep in your room with you the first night you came home," Mitch tells him.

Scott smiles as he watches Mitch crawl onto the bed as well, crawling under the sheets. He giggles when Mitch pops his head out of the blanket. He scoots closer to Mitch. "I missed you," he whispers.

"I missed you too," Mitch whispers as he looks up at Scott.

The two stare at each other, before Mitch slowly starts leaning closer to Scott, and then finally kisses him.

Scott hesitates before kissing Mitch back. Mitch isn't Damien. Mitch won't hurt him. He can trust Mitch.
