"What are we doing?" Scott asks as Mitch pushes him into the bathroom.
Mitch sighs as he shuts the door behind him. "So, that Alpha told you that you were an Omega, right?"
"Mhm," Scott nods. "Why are we talking about this again? You know how I-"
"I know, but... did that Alpha ever let you look into the mirror at all?" Mitch asks, looking up at Scott.
"Um, no...?" Scott blinks a few times, and shakes his head. "I don't understand, Mitchy."
"Okay, we're going to do something-" Mitch says as he gently grabs a hold of Scott and places him in front of the mirror. "You don't believe that you're an Alpha, which is understandable. But, you are an Alpha, and there's only one way to prove that to you. I want you to change your eye colors."
Scott frowns. "Mitch, I don't feel comfortable doing this," he mumbles.
"Scott," he warns, trying his best to use an 'Alpha' voice.
Scott's eyes widen, and then he looks in the mirror and does as he's told. Within' seconds, his blue eyes turn into red eyes. All Alpha's have red eyes while Omega's have blue eyes.
Scott gasps. "M-My eyes..." He looks over at Mitch. "They're not blue?"
Mitch shakes his head. "I'm so sorry, Scotty. That Alpha lied to you, and made you think that you were an Omega. He was so desperate for an Omega that he thought to change who you were," he whispers.
Scott feels like his whole life is a lie. Everything he knew. Damien lied to him, because he wanted an Omega? There are thousands of Omegas out there in the world. Why did he do this to him?
"Scott-" Mitch goes to touch his arm, but Scott shoves him away and walks out of the bathroom.
Mitch takes a deep breath, before walking out of the bathroom and then walking back down the stairs, where Connie and Rick were impatiently waiting for him.
Connie stands up as soon as she sees Mitch. "Does he know?"
Mitch slowly nods. "I think he's in shock," he tells her. "Anyone would be."
"It's for the best that he knows the truth. This will help him become his true self again," Rick says.
"I don't think he'll ever be his true self again, not after everything he's gone through," Connie mumbles. "We can only hope that over time Scott will heal and be happy again. That's all I want for him."
"I just want my Alpha back," Mitch frowns and looks down.

"Look, Mitchy! I'm an Alpha!" Scott exclaims excitedly as he runs up to his best friend.
Mitch looks up from the notebook he'd been doodling in, and sees Scott flashing his eyes red. "Wow! That's so cool, Scotty!" He sets his notebook down and stands up. "Do you think I'll be an Alpha?"
Scott frowns. "I thought you wanted to be an Omega?"
"I... I don't know," Mitch mumbles, shuffling his feet nervously. "Being an Omega sounds scary."
"It won't be scary. I'll be there to protect you," Scott says, leaning forward and kisses Mitch's cheek, causing the younger boy to blush. "Just be your cute self."
Mitch smiles as he looks up at Scott. "You would still want me to be your Omega?"
"I wouldn't want anyone else to be my Omega," Scott replies, grinning.
Mitch giggles. "Just a few more months until we find out!"
"Oh, hello Scott-"
Scott looks over and smiles when he sees Mrs. Grassi walk into the kitchen. "Happy birthday, dear."
"Thank you, Mrs. Grassi! I'm an Alpha, look!" Scott shows her his red eyes.
"Oh-" Her eyes widen with surprise. "That's wonderful. Congratulations, dear."
Scott smiles. "Thanks. It's just what I wanted, and dad is super is excited," he says.
"Well, it was pretty obvious that you were going to be an Alpha with how athletic and strong you are,"
"Mom?" Mitch asks, looking up at her. "What do you think I'm going to be?"
Nel looks over at him. "Well," she sighs. "I think you're going to be an Omega. You're small, sweet, and you've always wanted nothing more than to please the people around you."
"Did you hear that, Scotty? Mom thinks I'm going to be an Omega!" Mitch exclaims, grabbing Scott's arm.
Scott smiles at Mitch. "Just a few more months," he whispers.
****
Scott gasps as he sits up, his eyes widened.
He remembered something. At least, he thinks he remembered something. It could have been a dream, but it felt so real. He's almost positive that it was a memory.
Scott throws the blankets off of himself and jumps up from the bed, running to Mitch's bedroom.
"Mitchy!" Scott exclaims, running over and turning the light on. "Mitchy, wake up!"
Mitch groans and quickly covers his eyes, the light being too bright. "Scott? What is going on?" He asks, blinking a few times as he looks up at Scott. "What time is it?"
"That doesn't matter!" Scott jumps onto the bed. "I remembered something!"
Mitch instantly looks up at Scott. "You remembered something?" He asks.
"I mean, I think... I don't really know if it was a dream or a memory. But, what I remembered is that I found out that I was an Alpha. We were at your house and your mom was there. We were talking about whether or not you wanted to be an Omega. I said I wouldn't want anyone but you as an Omega."
Mitch gasps and throws his arms around Scott, hugging him tightly. "Scotty, it was a memory!"
Scott smiles as he hugs Mitch back. "I knew it. It felt too real," he whispers.
"What in the world is going on in here?"
Scott pulls away from the hug and looks up, seeing his mom standing in the doorway. "Mom..."
"It's past midnight," Connie says. "I mean, your adults. You don't have bedtimes anymore. But, some of us still like to sleep at normal times. Now, what is all this commotion?"
"Scotty remembered something!" Mitch exclaims, sitting up on his knees. "I think it had to do with revealing his true Alpha status. It must have jogged a memory or something."
Connie smiles widely. "Scott, this is great news!"
"I'm so happy. I've felt so empty for so long," Scott sighs in relief.
"I am, happy, believe me... but, don't pressure yourself, okay? Take your time with your memories," Connie warns softly. She walks over to Scott and hugs him. "That goes for you too Mitch."
"I know, I know-" Mitch rolls his eyes. "And I have been laying off him, just like you asked."
"Good," she reaches over and ruffles his hair, chuckling when Mitch whines and fixes his hair. "Alright, now keep it down. Your father has work in the morning and he'll be grumpy if he doesn't get sleep."
Scott smiles as he watches Connie leave the bedroom, shutting the door behind her, before he turns and looks over at Mitch. "Mitchy, can I stay with you?" He asks hopefully. "I-I don't like sleeping alone."
Mitch smiles, happy that Scott trusts him enough to ask if they can share the same bedroom. "Of course, Alpha! You know you're always more than welcomed to stay here whenever you're scared," he says.
