"I don't think it's a good idea," Connie says as she stares at Rick.
"Why not? It's the perfect idea. Scott needs to learn how to be an Alpha again, correct" Rick asks.
"Well... I guess. But, do you really think taking him to a big dinner with big Alphas is a good idea, Rick? What if Scott gets scared and has a panic attack?" Connie asks worriedly.
"Connie, he has to get used to being out in the real world again," Rick sighs with frustration.
"He will, Rick. We have to be patient with him!" Connie exclaims, also frustrated.
"Mom? What's going on?" Scott asks, slowly walking into the living room, knowing his parents were talking about him again. He hates when they argue about him like this.
"Scott! Perfect timing," Rick turns and looks over at Scott.
Connie groans and shakes her head. "This is not a good idea Rick," she mumbles.
"What's not a good idea?" Scott asks, slightly nervous.
"I'm going to an important dinner this weekend, and I want you to come with me," Rick says. "Just you, Mitch won't be coming with us and neither will your mother."
"Oh, a dinner sounds nice. But, why can't Mitchy and mom come with us?" Scott asks curiously.
"Because, it's a dinner for Alphas," Rick tells him. "Alphas get together once a month and talk about business related things. You know, things that aren't necessarily suitable for Omegas. I'm sorry, Connie. You know I don't think about it like that. Anyways, I think that it'll be good for you to go with me this time, don't you think?" He looks up at Scott hopefully.
Scott hesitates. "H-How many Alphas?" He asks, unsure.
"Hm, around fifty. It's a big dinner," Rick replies. "Don't worry. You can stay by my side the whole time."
"Well, i-if you think it'll be good for me... I'm willing to give it a try," Scott says.
"Scott, you don't have to-" Connie speaks up. "You don't have to go if you really don't want to."
"Connie," Rick warns as he looks over at her.
"What?" Connie asks, crossing her arms against her chest.
"Mom, it's okay. I want to go. I'll just stay with dad the whole time," Scott assures her.
Connie sighs in defeat, and looks up at Scott. "Alright. If you want to go..."

"Wait, you're going with your dad?" Mitch asks as he watches Scott put on his shoes.
It's Friday now, and Scott's getting ready to leave for the dinner. Scott's feeling nervous about this dinner, but his dad seems really excited, and Scott hasn't been able to spend much time with his dad since he came back. So, maybe this will be good for him. He's just worried about the other Alphas...
"Yeah," Scott looks over at Mitch. "Why wouldn't I?"
"Scott, I don't think you understand what you're getting yourself into..."
"It's just a dinner," Scott shrugs his shoulders. "And, I want to spend time with my dad, Mitch."
"I-" Mitch stares at Scott with worry. He looks over when Rick and Connie walks into the living room.
"Ready to go?" Rick asks, looking over at Scott.
"Yeah," Scott looks up at his dad and smiles, before slipping on his coat. "I'm ready."
